I checked, and you're right, there isn't a size option.
My 14-year-old daughter is 5'4' tall and wears a YXL. They're about mid-calf in length. According to her, this is the ideal length.

I wanted to provide a comparison after reading about sizing. My daughter is 75 pounds and wears a size 10 in the girls' section. The youth medium is ideal for this age group. Snug but not oppressively so.
So, this is just a heads-up. These pants are fantastic, but I wish the sizing chart included additional measurements such as thigh size, as my daughter is a catcher. She's 5'3" and only 90 pounds, with a slim waist, so I went with the recommended size. They fit her waist and height, but her legs and butt are extremely tight. Hopefully, these will hold up during her tournament and she won't have to rip them out. They're super stretchy, and she can squat in them, but she claims they're still too tight.
She usually wears a size 12 pair of pants. These pants are a little big in the waist, great in the hip and thigh, and a little tight around the calf. They do, in fact, look good together. I almost chose a Youth Medium, but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to take a chance and go with the Large, which I am glad I did. They're extremely long-lasting and exactly what I needed!.
It was a big hit with my daughter. The waist is too big, but that is the case with all of her pants. It'll be fine if we use a stretchy belt, but it won't stay up as well or look as nice as it would if it were thin and wrinkled. I ordered it at the last minute, and it arrived quickly at a great price. We bought pants for my daughter because she is tall and a dancer, and we wanted them to be stretchy and move with her body. They aren't as baggy as my son's, but he prefers that and is younger.
These pants were too small and low-rise for her; she normally wears the same size in Champro pants, but these were too small. They almost appeared to be the wrong size. My daughter prefers low-rise softball pants, but she felt compelled to pull these up all the time. I only wore it once and was unable to put it back on. The pants, like all of the champro we've bought, are well-made. My daughter, however, is not one of them. She is a ten-year-old little girl. She is a size ten. 55 inches, 90 pounds.
These pants are fantastic. These are worn by my daughter's travel softball team, and they are a perfect fit (even in the opinion of a preteen). We have them in multiple colors in her size, as well as the next size up for when the time comes. Strongly advise!.
The pants are really nice. My daughter is 5' 3" tall and weighs about 105 pounds, with a slim but not skinny build. We went with the youth XL size. The legs are perfect, but the waist is excessively large. There is no drawstring to tighten, but a belt would suffice; my daughter claims that they are too loose around the waist and hips. We'll have to go back and give the YL another shot. Overall, the product is well-made and of good quality. It's just that it's a little bigger than we're used to.
Maybe a half-inch. I'm not sure why the two sizes are considered too small. Because that would make sense, I believe they're measuring "waist" at the hips.
