In terms of increasing arm speed and strength, this product has good results when used properly

It has really increased her arm strength as well as speed as she is a 14U pitcher and this is what her pitching coach has been using. I purchased this one to use at home with her and she has gained a good deal of strength and speed as well. Whenever you catch this ball from a pitcher who is working on his speed, make sure that you have a good-padded glove on hand. I really don't like this.

It's a lot of fun playing with I was surprised at how light it felt, but when switching balls you can tell the difference. It may be a little pricey, but it is well.
