Selected User Reviews For Miken Ultra II, Senior Slowpitch Softball Bat, 1 pc. SSUSA Balanced
Playing in a league with a no bat rule for players 50 and older is my passion. During the break-in period, I hit about 120 balls out of the new package the night before the first game. In the fourth ending of the game, in which I played tonight, I hit a 450 foot shot over the fence with a 12 foot height difference and into the skateboard When there are two other players on base, it is a Home run. One other batter hit over the fence and two others hit the fence. The fence is at 280 feet. One other batter hit over the fence in warmup, however, but that did not It is far and away the best bat that I have ever had the pleasure of using, most certainly for any bat rule league where the bats have not been rolled, shaved, or tuned for the balls we use. There are 44 375 Trump Stone Rock Softballs.
The population of bats is 21. This bat has been purchased by two thirds of the league. One of the players on my team is a 75-year-old guy I'm able to out-hit 95% of the time. His Miken is now better than mine now. I cannot stop making fun of him. Friendship is a strong bond between us. The majority of my balls went over the fence while I used his bat for a week. With my Mikens, I have yet to hit one out.
It took me about 6 weeks to hit with this bat since I got it at the beginning of my senior softball season. My decision was influenced by its ranking of number two on a list of top 10 and the fact that it is less expensive than number one. While I am very pleased with it, I cannot say I was able to experience what a lot of the rave reviews said about it. Putting it over the fence won't raise your power tremendously, but solid contact will sustain the power you already have.
We were using composite bats for the first time at that time. We have bought Mike Ultra II twice in the last two seasons. Both times, we have been disappointed with the product shortly after purchasing it. **The first one suffered a bit of a The second one gave way on its own just recently So, even though the Psycho is still somewhat active, I would urge you not to purchase this bat.
My age is 67, and I'm in the Senior Softball League. Last year, I had trouble batting the ball. There are 400 mostly singles in total. My purchase of the Miken Ultra this year was a great decision. With 15 games under my belt, I have hit 4 home runs, 3 triples, 7 doubles and am batting a . 416 average. You have 750 points! Miken Ultra 2 bats are the only significant difference between last year and this year.
I was able to use the bat perfectly. My goal was to slow my swing down by using a heavier bat. In spite of the general practice of using a lighter bat to increase the speed of the swing, I have found that this heavier bat has given me better contact and helped me to hit to all fields more consistently and with Despite the results I have achieved, I am happy with them.
I have owned several of these bats in the past. The senior bats I use are some of the most deadly out there, but they do fall apart easily and have no warranty, like many junior bats. The majority of our bats are Ultra 2's in our dugout. It is recommended that you check your league's rules, since most recreational leagues don't allow seniors to use bats.
