Like you, I am in the same boat and this bat is the most convenient I've ever used to hit a dinger. The 28 oz bat worked great for me and I was able to hit 350-plus mph with it. It is possible to hit the fence with a solid contact. My friend played in her first game in 11 years on a coed rec team recently, and she gapped a male player in the outfield during her first game with me. The bat is awesome!
A new bat with the 1oz end load has been released. This year is going to be an interesting year for me. This could also be the case. A bat like this is hard to go wrong. Having it in your hands is like having a gladiator in your arms. Ok, if anyone who looks at this plays in my senior league, scroll to the bottom. I am stating this for all the others reading this blog post that I have been in love with this bat since the moment I held it in my hands. EDIT It has been almost three months since I purchased this bat and I'm very glad I did.
