There was only one negative review, so the average actually declined due to a small number of total reviews. As a result, I took the risk. It was a great experience! It was wrapped in its original wrapper when I brought it to our first slow pitch opener of the season. As soon as we took the first pitch, the ball was hot! The pop and the distance do not disappoint The 27 oz. bottle I bought is a great size. A 34" man who is balanced. As I was swinging for a single to get my first RBI, I hit the ball into deep center. It was so far from where I expected it! Everyone wanted to swing the freak! Most brought their own bats, but everyone wanted to swing the freak! This bat definitely deserves 5 stars and was fun to play with. As a side note, it arrived 2 days early which was great. We are a veteran team -- we've played softball together for over a decade, most since we were teens. It's a great feeling to begin the season with such a great bat.
A bat and a bat are on our shopping list. The Miken Freak 26oz balanced shotgun shell is one endload and one balanced shotgun shell. For our coed 2021's, we use 27 ounces of beer. Each of them has a great pop sound. This would be a great company to recommend.
I received it the Friday before the tournament, and we went turn by turn hitting with it to get it used to it. The girls even hit deep balls to the outfield during that practice session, hitting 7 home runs in total! With a quick break in bat, there is plenty.
On my first swing, I managed to hit one over the fence. If you have played fast pitch before and are used to a more balanced weight distribution, then this is the bat for you. Although I'm not a power hitter at all, I was still able to hit the ball with this bat.
It is not ready to use Stumped in. Needed to be broken into. I took about 50 shots to get this.
