Are these cleats naturally wider than other cleats or do I need to purchase the wide version?

I prefer to have a wide cleat for my son. My son's feet are fairly wide, so I've found New Balance to be cut wider and fit more like a tennis shoe than any other brand. When it comes to Nike shoes, it seems like my son can wear a regular width in New Balance but that he needs a wide in Nike.

It is nice that they are a bit wider and allow for more natural movement of the foot. They're a hit with my kid! I like how you look as well. Also, the laces stay tied (an important feature for younger players).
