With the intention of using them for training my own keeper and for the private training I do every week, I purchased them. In my opinion, buying poles with spikes at the bottom would limit my options You can show me how to rephrase this. In the beginning I filled the bases with water, but after practice I quickly loaded up my car, it leaked everywhere in my car. It would probably be better to fill them with sand instead, but I have not tried that yet. I will use them to train people someday if I end up using them. Having spikes on the poles would make storing and carrying them much easier. My use of mine has been limited because of this as well It is just too hard for me to transport them from my house to the field. I will get the spiked poles the next time I make a purchase in this area of training equipment.

The product worked great for the first day, but then a number of issues surfaced.

The bottom dome holds the sticks very well, and it is quite useful for this purpose. However, some got cracked as a result of falls. I tried filling it with water, and the bottom of the jar started leaking immediately. There are some parts that are intended for grass/sand, while others are intended for indoor use. This clip holds well but can't be twisted to another position because it is rigid. This photo clearly shows that the pole is being held by the clip, which is twisted horizontally. Although I tried to twist it many times, it refused to budge. As a final feature, the hurdles come in two pieces which can be connected together to create It is difficult to pull out the black connector if it gets stuck in the pole and is easily pushed inside. It appears that nearly half of the sticks can't be connected due to a faulty black connector. There are a few things it could do better, but overall it's a good product.

I purchased two sets of these. It was easy to put them together and they arrived in perfect shape. It is very likely that sand or water will be needed in the bases to keep them from tipping. Unlike the children's party, I have not used them for indoor agility training for adults, but I have used them for an adult indoor party. It works really well with these. I still have to refill it every couple days as the water leaks out. I had a lot of fun using these with my track students. Due to their light weight, if there is any wind around the bases will need to be filled with sand or water to help them stand upright.
