Questions & Answers
Our weighted strength trainer, the Wraparound ONE (steel), is made for stick handling and light shots. It weighs around 80 grams and will give your forearms a good work out. The Wraparound ICE (plastic) is designed for fast, all-around road hockey. The ICE is made of a specially formulated plastic that is both light (39 grams) and strong, allowing your stick to glide across even the roughest surfaces. When fully taped, this unit is capable of withstanding any shot.
It only has a minor impact on the shot.
This should not be used in ice because it is made of metal. It is intended for use on dry land only! Good luck
Yes, it is simple to take off and replace the wrap. It works in the same way as a skate guard, but it's thinner and metal. How long do you think it'll last? We are still learning how to use it and it is not something we do on a regular basis.

I gave it three stars because I used the metal wrap around four times and durability is a concern given the price. br>br> I used it on my P28M blade. It was simple to set up. Carbon will be scratched only superficially. In terms of feel, the stick resembles that of a war ax. The hockey tape isn't doing any good. But it's not too bad once it's worn out. br>br>If it lasted longer or was more affordable, I'd recommend it as a training tool. Also, do you think a blade with less curve would be more durable?.
On my regular ice hockey stick, I enjoy playing street hockey with this.
So, if you want to ensure that your stick is never damaged, this is the product for you. This is the item for you if you want to get a good workout as well. It's as if your stick has a 5-pound weight attached to it. I'm going to order a lighter-weight plastic one.
The best! When my son practices indoors or outdoors (without ice), he uses his ice hockey stick.
The item is sturdy, but I had to return it because the weight of the metal caused it to fall off the stick when tapped. It's great for handling sticks, but I wouldn't use it for shooting. I'm going to give the plastic version a shot!.
The effects are quite strong, but they don't last long, and the tabs were smashed as soon as they arrived.
It will add weight to your stick and will need to be heavily taped on, but it will protect your blade, even if the blade will not feel as natural as it would without it.
