These Rollerblades are incredibly fast and enjoyable to ride

*Break- in the directions ROLLERBLADES BREAKING IN: To speed up the break-in process of your rollerblades, you'll need a drill and a hair dryer. Drill out the metal boot lace eyelets after you've removed the laces. Skating is painful because the top metal eyelet digs into your ankle. After drilling eyelets in the boots, tighten the straps and use a hair dryer to bend the ankle area back and forth side to side. br>br>In the 1980s, I played international hockey and purchased one of the first Rollerblade roller blades. The boots were so well made that they lasted 20 years of daily wear. I hadn't used roller blades in over a decade and was looking for the best and most up-to-date when I came across the Maxxum Edge 125s on the internet. FYI. When I went to Dick's, I discovered that they only had low-cost options. These ME 125 3WDs are the Lamborghinis of the roller blade world. There were some mid-tier models that were nice, but these ME 125 3WDs are the Lamborghinis of the roller blade world. br>The boot is well-made, with an aluminum ratchet and quick-release straps. It's exactly what you'd expect for $359, and Rollerblade does not disappoint. I'd like to see a boa system or even another strap for the front few laces - Shoe laces irritate me because they appear to be so outdated. I would have gladly paid a higher price to avoid having to deal with laces. br>The boot is of good quality, but it will need to be modified - The metal eyelets on the inside should be drilled out so they don't dig into your ankles. The Maxxum Edge 125's best feature is its wheels. They're enormous! To demonstrate the size of the wheels, I placed a golf ball between them. So, the best thing about having big wheels is the SPEED. These things are incredibly quick. I'm tracking 25 miles per hour on my fitness GPS! People stare at me as I whiz past bikers on the bike paths, asking, "Is that electric?" "Because I'm going so fast, it's the best fitness and fun investment I've ever made!" Although not recommended for beginners, if you're looking for roller blades, these are worth the extra money. After you drill out the metal eyelets near your inner ankles, you'll fall in love with them.

I REALLY LIKE THESE! First and foremost
5/5

I am 50. When I was in my twenties, I used to rollerblade. It's been 25 years since the last time we saw each other. When I say blade, I'm not referring to a weapon. I bladed. In Philadelphia, you can go for miles. I had a great time, and I'd been looking for blades that would work for me since then. I didn t want cheap blades by any means and knew I was getting Rollerblades. When I first saw these, I was smitten by the way they looked, and I was also impressed by the reviews. At first, I thought these were too difficult for me. AND THAT'S WHAT THEY WERE. lol. But only for a short period of time; the first two times I wore them, I was like. . . What the hell happened? What happened to my legs and my sense of balance? haha. anyway. This pair of skates is incredible. I've regained control of my legs. I'm getting stronger every time I use them, and I'm up to about ten miles now. working until thirty years of age or more. I had forgotten how much fun these were, and I'm not sure why I let it go back then. life. . work. etc. . anyway. These skates are not to be missed. They have me completely enamored. The boot is exactly as described, and the wheels are fantastic. As another poster stated, it takes some getting used to, but once you do, you'll be flying and loving it. I've already placed an order for bearings and wheels, so I'll be ready when it's time to replace them! LOL!.

Holy Cow! These skates are excellent
5/5

I own the RB110 as well as these. The difference in speed between them is astounding. I get a ridiculously long roll. This is the fastest I've ever skated, and it's a little frightening. I was going to replace the bearings with my favorite ceramic bearings right away, but I decided to give the ILQ-X a chance. To see how they were, I used the 9 Pro. These are excellent bearings, and I will most likely purchase them as a backup set for my RB110. I ordered two sizes larger than my shoe and found that they were a little loose in the ankle and heel, so I'll just need to add another thick sock to get the perfect fit. I immediately went out and skated 6 miles, which was fantastic. The wheels are the Hydrogen, and they don't even look like I skated on them, but the ride and tackiness were fantastic. I wish these had been released sooner so that I could have avoided purchasing the RB110. The $100 difference between these and the RB 110 is well worth it.

READ THE DETAILS OF THEIR PRODUCT

DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES THAT I DID. ***READ THE DESCRIPTION TO GET THE CORRECT SIZE*** I normally wear a size (US) 10 in Zetrablade 80mm "cheap skates," so I bought a size 10 in these and they were HORRIBLE. My foot was extremely cramped, and my toe was pushing against the front of the boot insert, so I returned it and exchanged it for a size 11, which I should have done in the first place because the description specifically states to do so. Because I didn't know what to look for in the description, I relied solely on reviews. At first, the "width" of the size 11 was a little tight, but it broke in perfectly after a trip to the rink. I'm not sure how to "bake" them, but I'll look into it. I'll update this if I have any further problems, but the skates appear to be of good quality and material. Thick socks are most likely required. I've been skating for years in 80mm cheap skates, and these gave me ankle blisters after the first round of indoor skating. The stock wheels are actually quite nice! On the wooden floor, you've got a great grip! That could be due to the fact that I haven't tried other wheels of this size, but I was still impressed. I don't know enough about bearing specs or anything to comment on the stock bearings, but I was moving fast in these.

These blades are amazing! Wonderful Skates / Intentional Customer Service I had a big grin on my face from the moment I opened the box
5/5

As I cruise along in these bad boys, I feel as if I'm floating. br>br>Despite some misunderstandings between myself, Rollerblade, Inline Warehouse, and Amazon, I was able to resolve the problem. Stan from Inline Warehouse went out of his way to make sure I had a good time despite the fact that other parties involved were giving me false information. I admire his thoughtfulness. br>br>If you plan to buy something on Amazon in the future, make sure to look at the websites of the companies that sell there. You might be able to get it cheaper if you buy directly from the suppliers rather than paying a little more for Amazon's middle man.
