It is already curved to the left or right when it is delivered. All you have to do now is order the L or R version.
On a composite shaft, I mounted this blade. It's a little more difficult than putting it on a wooden shaft, but it's doable.
I measured 10 1/2 inches from the top of the foot to the bottom of the heel.

My children play street hockey almost every day, and the sticks last only a few weeks before they are worn out. Sticks for playing street hockey are no longer cheap. After the blade wore down, I started putting these blades on them, and they last a lot longer now. Cut off the old and replace it with the newbr>Also, when the blade on one of their ice hockey sticks cracks, I cut it off and replace it with this blade, which they can use as a street hockey stick.
This is great for kids or just messing around with ball hockey, but it's far too versatile to be used for serious hockey practice. I bought it so that I could practice passing with my young son in the driveway and avoid wrecking any more real sticks. It's adequate for passing, but it's too flimsy for stickhandling and ineffective for wrist shots.

Street hockey is my son's obsession. He had worn down his old blade to the point of breaking it. This blade is quite sturdy and should be able to withstand the abuse of shooting on pavement for quite some time. My only complaint is that the screws that come with the kit are extremely short and thin. After only a few games, he lost one, and the other followed soon after. I replaced them with thicker, longer screws, which are holding the blade securely in place.
It was only good for a month before it started to crack. I was let down.
It's one of my son's favorite places to play street hockey. He particularly enjoys the fact that it is curved, as it provides him with more control.
I agree that the price has skyrocketed, but other adult-sized blades are difficult to come by. In my league, I replace the blade about once a month due to wear or breakage.
My son's ice hockey stick had worn out and I needed a replacement. We can now play street hockey with them.
