It wouldn't work with any of our nerf guns because the balls are too large for them.
They're bigger than a ping pong ball and quite sturdy. Yorkie should have no trouble retrieving, but if he or she is prone to doing so, he or she may be able to rip out chucks.
Because the balls aren't as hard as tennis balls, getting hit by one shouldn't be too painful.

To begin, I'd like to state that I've had a mini sticks net or nets for almost seven years and am currently working on building my own larger nets. My son tried to bite off the flaking parts of a mylec foam puck that came with a goalie stick and ball seven years ago. The puck still slides well, but the black casing has been peeling for some time. I bought these pucks as a result. Advantages: br>br> br>The puck behaves similarly to a real puck on ice, allowing you to take wrist shots that a ball would not allow. br>They can't do much damage (though getting hit in the eye hurts a little). br>good size; looks a lot like my other puckbr>br>Cons: br>They were stickier than I expected when I received them, but after washing them with water and playing with them for about 15 minutes, they appear to be fine. br>Each puck in the package had a "defect"; a semi- The pucks appear to be made differently now, as each one has a visible hole in the foam where manufacturing was done; I can't comment on the effect of this, but I'm afraid it might affect the product's lifetime, as my other puck was exceptionally long lasting. br>At $3, they're a little on the expensive side. I have 33 pucks, but when I play, I don't use anything else.
So, mom and dad join in on the fun as well. We set up the "rink" in the living room, and they keep the puck in play by hanging blankets with large clothes clips. These pucks glide smoothly across the carpet, much like a real puck on the ice or in the street. We have a berber carpet in our living room. Even on some of their "lifters," it doesn't hurt to get hit with the puck. We play so much that the puck's black outer coating starts to flake. We bought these to replace the ball that came with the hockey stick/goal set and would recommend them to anyone who prefers to play floor hockey with a puck rather than the ball that comes with the stick/goal set. Because the ball does not resemble a real puck, we never use it to play. The only difference between this three-pack and the original from the hockey stick/goal set is that it lacks the white M on one side. Have fun.
I'm only writing this review to prevent you from making the same mistake I did by relying on other people's opinions. These balls are similar in size to mini lacrosse/fiddlestix balls, but they are not identical. They're made of a dense, lighter foam that doesn't bounce. These are low-bounce knee hockey balls, which are probably fine for that purpose, but as replacement mini lacrosse balls for Fiddlestix, they're probably not so great. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR LACROSSE, as stated in other reviews. They're too light and don't bounce at all. They can't be thrown off a cliff.
lacrosse. As a backup, I purchased these balls. My son is learning to throw and catch lacrosse balls. They were a lot less expensive than the official mini-golf course. I chose these because they are lacrosse balls and the packaging indicates that they should be used for lacrosse. These aren't good lacrosse balls, according to some other reviews written after my purchase. The balls are well-made in every other way. These balls throw well, but they are too light and bouncy to catch. I've tried it with both a mini and a full-size camera. Even for me, catching a lacrosse stick of that size is extremely difficult. The balls will bounce out of your head unless they land perfectly in the pocket. They're also too light to keep themselves seated by flexing the pocket.
Knee hockey balls are a good quality, more realistic, and less painful alternative. It's knee hockey, so they're a little more difficult to stick with on carpet. Simply shoot the puck as hard as you can and scare the living daylights out of your opponent. So far, my son has only encountered two drawbacks (he is on his second pack). Because they're so small, they're easy to lose. Also, the plastic on the puck will begin to peel off after a long period of use, but I believe this is due to my Al Iafrate-style shot rather than the product's quality.
There were several different sizes of mylec balls available, and I thought I had ordered the right one, but these were about 2 inches in diameter, similar to racquetball balls. We wanted something that was about the size of a tennis ball. I had intended to exchange them, but my son ripped the package open and has been happily using them in the playroom during the winter for lacrosse, hockey, and tennis practice. They don't leave any marks on the walls and don't appear to be capable of breaking anything.
The only thing I didn't anticipate was their diminutive size. They're not full-sized pucks; they're miniature pucks. I guess they're for knee hockey, which is a type of hockey played on your knees with mini sticks that I'm not familiar with.
They're of good quality and light weight, making them ideal for indoor knee sticks. As there are stray shots in the house, I've been hit with these quite a few times. They are painless and long-lasting. I'll definitely be purchasing more in the near future!.
