Not even close to the weight of a hockey puck.
Yes, it's hollow on the inside. I bought these to play ball with my dog in our yard at night. I used a flashlight to make it glow and liked the way it stayed lit, but after about 3 months of playing almost every night, they start to crack and break up.
Plastic that is very hard. The ball has a small amount of give to it.

These are fantastic! Instead of using tennis balls with the fuzz, I'm using them for my dog. It's simple to clean them. When the light fades, I carry a flashlight in my pocket to make them glow. My dog can see the balls in the dark, but I can't, so having these glow in the dark balls allows me to see where they land and whether or not she has retrieved them. They're the perfect size for the medium Chuckit I purchased.
Tennis balls are completely destroyed by my dog. He'll never be able to get rid of these. It floats, making it an excellent water toy. It works at night and glows in the dark. Is there anything else you could ask for? My dog is completely devoted to me.
On a stick blade, however, it feels quite soft, making it difficult to cleanly handle. I haven't seen it glow at night despite leaving it out in the sun all day, but it might work if you use direct light from a flashlight or lamp.
It was fantastic until my dog got his hands on it.
It's a high-quality ball at a great price, and it's great at dampening bounces and flying, so be careful because it'll leave a mark.
It's ideal for some late-night hockey.
They only have a faint glow after days in direct sunlight, and the glow only lasts about an hour. Although disappointing, these glow hockey balls appear to be the best on the market after extensive research.
I'm pretty sure this is the softest hockey ball I've ever seen. It glows for about 20 minutes after absorbing light for a much longer period of time, but based on its handling/performance, it's at best a gimmick! Save your money!.
