SS Cricket Club Plus Batting Leg Guards - Men's Size, (Black, Blue,Royal Blue,Green)

I am 5'11" and these are a good fit for me. They are extremely lightweight and stylish. I, on the other hand, believe they are underprotected. I took a direct hit from a slow medium bowling (white ball) on the lower shin and felt the impact; it had bruised by the end of practice (30 minutes) and I was in excruciating pain for the next two days. I was hit by a medium Pacer and was unharmed because I was higher up on the pad. More protection would be ideal, but for the price, I believe they are adequate.
