As a result of repeated attempts to reattach it (including involvement of home plate umpires and coaches), we threw it out. It got to the point when my son could not wear his helmet to a Memorial Day tournament because this throat guard kept falling off, and he had to borrow a teammate's helmet instead. I would prefer to see snapping guards. A shoe strap instead of a sole Tie style in the form of lace. Seeing as I taught my son a square knot, I guess it was good for him, although he could have put this mask on himself if it had come with snaps like other brands.

This is a fantastic product that is well worth the price. The only issue I have is that I would not use the strings it comes with to fasten it to the catchers helmet. It would be best if zip ties were used!.
