There were a few problems with the ones I got. I had to return them. The people who sent me the pads sent me two different sizes
It does not have an additional sleeve, and we have not had any problems with it moving when we play. The brand and version of pads I have are definitely the ones I recommend!
As his size was extra small, I made sure to get the extra small for him. Despite being 9 and getting a little snug, his brother can also wear them. I have a 7 year old who is about 3'6" tall and weights 40 pounds and a brother who is 4" tall and weighs 46 pounds. The way we determine size is to try on athletic clothing at a sporting goods store before we buy it. The ones at the store fit just as well as those at home, even though the brands were different.
In other words, it is meant for beginner players, so it is youth sized.

Although the pads were for an average build 7 year old, they were far too small for him. A good amount of elbow protection is provided. The top, the bottom, as well as the inner surface of the arm pads were not well protected. This would be a good book for a child 5 to 6 years old. When a game is played, there is little or no physical contact between the players. It would be better if the plaything had more padding if it were intended for older children.
Small arms will appreciate how well it fits and is flexible. Our original purchase was the STX model, which we found to be less comfortable. In general, kids who are smaller (especially since they do not have the same risk of high-risk I wish the velcro strip were a bit wider, but so far it has held up so I would say it is adequate as long as it doesn't fail.
This is for my son, who is 7 years old, who plays They are quite small when I received them, but I wasn't prepared for that. They are also not much of a draw. My first thought when I saw them was that they reminded me of bike/skater He's quite small at 3' 10" and 52 pounds, so I describe him as a small child. Previously, he wore size small pants in a different brand and they fell off of him, but these XS pants are very tight.
I had a slender 7 year old in an XS and it was way too small for him. If I was sizing up, I would definitely do it. The pants were way too tight for me, which necessitated returning them.
This is how it is.
The fit is small and the shoes are tight, making them hard to put on and take Although he wears a size XS for all of his other lacrosse equipment, these were too small for him.
Although I ordered the elbow pads in the correct size, I should have ordered one size bigger.
Since it's extremely tight on me, it scratches the crap out of me, so I discarded them. Please do not make any purchases whatever you do.
