My son is 10 years old, so I ordered these for him. I was led to believe that these pads were youth pads based on the reviews and answers to questions asked. This is not true! My husband can fit in them because they are large.
It is perfect for the no check adult hockey league I belong to. They aren't bulky or bulky like most hockey pads, so they offer some protection from the occasional fall more or less.
These arm pads were bought for my son, who is 10 years old and is just getting started with Beginner players will find the price to be reasonable and also like the fact that they are lightweight since little kids are taking fewer A player who is older may need more padding on their pads.
