The item was purchased for my son to use in The only thing he can't fit is his helmet. It would therefore not be a good idea

Bags like that are very roomy, I would have thought so. The team wearing helmets for my daughter does not wear them.

I bought this for my daughter specifically because she needed a bag for field hockey so it served the purpose with the attachment for her hockey stick on the side (which she never uses but carries). If you can just buy a back pack or athletic bag for the same price, this is overpriced.

I bought this backpack to give to my son for his lacrosse practice. There is a perfect fit for everything. I've been able to wear the helmet well despite its tightness.

I bought this for my daughter to use as a lacrosse stick. Carrying her stick with this bag is a lot easier since it holds all of her gear.

I use this bag for all of my son's LAX gear, including his Even shoes will fit in there if you pack it well. It uses medium-sized bags so that you don't have to carry a huge duffel bag the whole time, yet still fits your gear perfectly You can use the LAX bag type.
