The wide size is better for my flat arches and wide feet, so I ordered the wide size. Even though I still had to use boot stretchers, these have otherwise been very satisfactory. As I haven't skated in a while I wasn't sure of the quality of the blades, however the boots are impressive and the street shoe size was the right one. If I ordered by size chart they would have been too small for me.

This is not at all comfortable

A good fit was found in the sizing. While the blade is fine (it is a little crooked, but can be straightened during sharpening)
The toe box is ridiculously short and caved in, both in the middle. I have to use my boot stretcher to get it to stay in place. We have even tried using the blow dryer to make it softer. In the current state, they are not usable.

We found exactly what we were looking for, but they were damaged and looked like they were In one skate, the leather on top of the toe was damaged

I did not check to see if those were seconds but after looking at the blades, I do not believe they were damaged We decided to get them sharpened and forget about them since my daughter needed to use them the next day. Please be careful when purchasing leather clothing, and allow time to return or exchange it if you are worried about things like gouges in the.

A seamless skate is being switched. My shoes were too narrow to fit in a skate shop anywhere nearby, so I measured myself and bought them online. I went with Riedells over Jacksons since they are more suited to There are some issues with the fit -- I probably sit my widest part of my foot farther back in the skate than an average foot would. Because my toes are rather long, that may contribute to that. Its thick tongue does not provide enough comfort as well, and can exert too much pressure on the tops of the feet. It became more comfortable when I changed from seamless socks to regular skate socks. It keeps me from experiencing the pesky ankle pain I had when using cheap, flimsy recreational skates. I've skated in them for a couple months and have had no problems. They're a good beginner skate and have eliminated my pesky ankle pain.

This pair of skates is cool! Although I referred to the size chart and ordered according to it, my toes went numb because they were squeezed so tightly. A shoe size that is 1/2 size smaller than your normal US shoe size is your correct.

I absolutely love the skate. The leather is very high quality, thick and rigid, and it is very well built. It goes without saying that they are a bit stiff now, but they are breaking in very nicely, as the extra padding on the tongue really keeps blisters at bay. My only regret is that I did not buy these skates sooner since I feel like I got a good deal since it is hard to find 100% genuine leather shoes, at this.

I bought these skates for my 8-year-old granddaughter since she has been taking skating lessons for a little more than a year.
