The heavy combat gloves are holding up well for SCA heavy combat. The only problem I've had so far is getting hit in a strange way that actually wound up on my thumb, but by the time I felt the force of it had disappeared.

I bought them In my spare time, I play broomball (sort of like hockey but without the skates, just with a softball-sized ball). I was very happy with this glove and it's protective capabilities. I gave it three stars since the color combination I wanted was not available. I wanted the It didn't make much sense to return my gloves and try again. I got a black glove with a small red stripe.
