This holder has a solid feel to it. It has a pleasing weight to it. It is simple to open and fold. It comes with a carrying case and doesn't take up much space. My 3-year-old daughter nearly kicked the football through a window when I set it up in my living room, so that was entertaining. Please be on the lookout for my attempt at FG.
br>br>Gorilla Glue won't even keep it together after an impact. br>br>I recommend spending $10 at a hardware store, getting some PVC pieces, glue, and sand (for weight) and making a better football holder.
it is not advised.
Purchased with the intent of using it to practice kicking during the off-season. season. I warmed up with a few extra points on the first day I had a chance to go out on the field to kick. On my ninth kick, I nicked the ball-carrier's arm with my shin, snapping both welds. This is excellent if you need a holder for two or three kicks. Much more, and I'd advise you to spend your money elsewhere.
This item was purchased for my son, who plays kicker for his football team. This winter, he'll be attending several kicking camps. He used it for one session, but one of the tripods broke during the second. He has another one from a different company that he has been using without issue for over a year. Because he had loaned the first one to a friend, we had to buy another.
My son used it for three days before the metal ball holder bar broke at the connection point. It's a costly product that breaks down so easily. This is a product that I do not recommend.
This kicking tee works until it breaks; I've used it twice and it appears that the metal bar that holds the ball in place is held in place by two tiny rivets/welds. That being said, I broke it on a 35-yard chip shot, and I would consider it defective right out of the box because it was not built to last.
