Turquoise Cross Beaded Basketweave Collection

The buckles are made of thin, brittle junkie metal, as you can see in the photos. For my daughter's 16th birthday, I made these. She preferred to have them repaired rather than returning them because she liked the leather just as much as the buckle. If you don't want them to be repaired, don't bother. It's too expensive. They had broken when she was putting them on her boots, by the way. A matching headstall is also available, which we purchased separately. It's hoped that the buckle won't break.

This is for a winter headstall that I bought. I really like how it looks and how high-quality it is. My horse is fairly large, but his ears aren't particularly large. The ear hole, however, will only just fit around his ear. We can still use it because he isn't ear sensitive, but it is touching his ear on the top and bottom, as well as the front.
