Questions & Answers

Are there any specific balls that you'll need?

I also use SKLZ whiffle balls, which work really well.

For a ten-year-old, which is the best option? Is this going to help or hurt his swing timing?

Hello,br>br>While the one you choose is largely a matter of personal preference, this product is intended to aid in rotation and hand speed training. Is this a product that is suitable for adults or is it only suitable for children?

No, not for adults or even older children, according to my opinion. I'd say this because of the length constraints. I like it when my batters practice everything in a game-like setting. Situation is similar to I have an 18u team, and the shortest bat we have is a 33", so if they use this bat, you'll lose at least 3 inches.

What's the difference between a sklz power stick and a franklin sports mlb pro-style baseball bat? Is there a way to train a thin bat swing?

I'm not sure! This stick, on the other hand, is quite substantial. in comparison to some of the lighter ones I've seen and used

It's quite effective
5/5

It does exactly what it says it will. When the children use it, however, it appears to only strengthen and develop skills. The garage, on the other hand, is a magnet for dust. Is there a place where you can buy better kids? What is the name of the section? Is it possible to combine work and home? Or maybe you're a fan of Amazon's Warehouse Sales?.

With a regular bat weight, this is a fantastic bat
5/5

It's a great practice tool when used with foam small balls. My high school baseball team uses this bat. My favorite feature is that it is close to the weight of the bats used in the game, so it retains the same feel despite having a much smaller barrel to connect with. In addition, I purchased.

The SKLZ sticks make warming up for a game a breeze
5/5

Our kids can use this stick to practice their eye-hand coordination and bat speed before a game. br>br>They will be well prepared for the game if they can hit the small Wiffle balls with this stick before the game begins. It also gives them confidence because they know you hit them in the eyes. Many companies attempt to copy SKLZ tools, and while these knockoffs are less expensive, the quality falls short of what SKLZ provides. You might save $5 to $15, but it won't last a season, and suddenly, that extra cash you set aside no longer makes sense. br>br>I have confidence in this company, and they are always developing new training materials. I feel confident in recommending the SKLZ brand to my closest family and friends, and I wouldn't bother writing a review if I didn't believe in the benefits this power stick will provide. I wish I had discovered these products earlier because they made pregame easier, more effective, and even more enjoyable. br>br>At the start of a game, children are naturally nervous. This tool boosts their self-assurance just when they need it the most (right before a game). It also doesn't make the players feel embarrassed if they miss the ball because whacking the small balls with the stick appears difficult. When a player misses a ball, they are embarrassed, and their confidence suffers as a result. The last thing you want to happen before a game is for this to happen. As you build trust with a more challenging activity, you can remove this potential hazard from the pregame. This tool, combined with the small balls, allows the player to relax and not be afraid of missing the ball, which is supposed to be difficult. When a player masters hitting small balls with the power stick, he or she is mentally and physically prepared to hit in the game. br>br>Once we implemented this simple system, our players' batting averages shot up dramatically. Our team had a total of seven hits in four games the weekend before we received the SKLZ sticks. Our team had 37 hits in our first two pool games the weekend we introduced the SKLZ sticks into our pregame routine! br>br>Each player was given a SKLZ stick and SKLZ small balls to begin with. We sent them to the next station, where they used their actual bat to hit real balls into a net after hitting ten successful small balls with the SKLZ stick. br>br>This creates a pregame routine that will put your player(s) in "Game Mode" in their minds, bodies, and, most importantly, their eyes. "br>br>Once we added this to our routine, we had a couple of parents bring knockoffs, which you should be wary of because they aren't weighted or designed to assist your player. Because they aren't weighted correctly and dent easily, knockoffs can cause more harm than good. After noticing the difference between knockoff and genuine SKLZ tools, we decided to only allow our players to use the tried and true SKLZ brand. The knockoff balls will break because they are cheap, and it will be inconvenient if they fail before a game when you need your players to warm up. br>br>Those who used the SKLZ stick had no choice but to concentrate on connecting the power stick to the small SKLZ balls. br>br>Once again, I wish I had known about these sticks from the start because they are the most efficient way to warm up your batters. You don't need much room, and after ten successful hits, their eyes are primed to hit any ball. br>br>Once your players are confident in their ability to hit golf ball-sized wiffles, they will be confident in their ability to step into the box and watch the baseball/softball connect to their bat. br>br>Those of you with younger siblings can use these as well, and at a very young age. This lite stick will make it simple for your young 3 or 4 year old to begin developing their hand-eye coordination. At the plate, repetitions with this stick will lead to success. br>br>I am not paid to promote these products in any way. I bought the entire set of tools. This is something that has the potential to make a significant difference.

Model with a powerstick
5/5

It was exactly what I expected. Ten and twelve-year-olds used it in the basement with a tee and net, as well as a Skilz pitching machine, and after a few days, the twelve-year-old was able to hit the cages at a speed of ten miles per hour. Most of the time, I couldn't keep up with 60 mph. On his first trip back, he nailed the first five pitches on 60 with ease. Normally, he asks to be taken down, but he didn't this time.

A fantastic tool for improving hand-eye coordination
5/5

This is a good practice bat. It's important to note that this isn't a standard bat. It's extremely light and thin (as well as quite long). Because of its light weight, it is designed to allow your player to take more swings than usual. This has been my experience with my 6-year-old son. This bat is used to hit wiffle balls of various sizes (both regular and golf-sized). In order to improve his hand-eye coordination, he used a small ball (about the size of a golf ball). I'm not sure if you should hit regular balls with this because I'm not sure how well it would hold up. But I can tell you that wiffle balls (particularly the small ones) have been extremely beneficial to my son. He's consistently been one of the team's best contact hitters, and I believe that's due in part to the bat training we've done. Thanks!.

More balls should be included in the box
4/5

We like training with the bat because it's heavy enough, very solid yet (purposefully) thin, and we enjoy it, but three balls isn't enough to get a good workout in versus spending time retrieving the balls.

This bat is ideal for practice
5/5

This heavy stick is ideal for hitting practice, as the difference between it and the 'normal' SKLZ stick bat allows you to work on a variety of mechanics while also increasing hand strength and speed. Hand-eye coordination is also improved by swinging a skinny barrel at small balls. If you buy this, you should also buy another pack of SKLZ small balls because the three that come with it aren't very long lasting.

It is well worth the effort
4/5

The boy enjoys it, and his swing and hand-eye coordination have both improved over the last month. His timing has been impeccable, as well. br>br>It only gets four stars because it comes with four balls. However, I got a deal on a 50-pack for $8, so it worked out.
