Questions & Answers

This item should be used with a practice bat rather than a game bat, according to the instructions. I'm looking for a good practice bat, so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. ?

The reason for this is that many of the composite bats that kids are using these days don't recommend hitting batting machine balls or using tools like this - which is made of a very hard plastic. The 'give' in real baseballs is greater. It's unlikely to make a difference with small children. However, once they reach the age of 11 or 12, and start hitting with more power, your $300 sweet game bat may be in jeopardy. For BP, my son only uses an old "dead" bat, and for tournaments, he only uses a good "game" bat.

Is this a baseball bat or a softball bat? Some have a larger softball head on them that I've seen. For Rookie league, I'll need a smaller baseball head. ?

Hello, Richard: br>This is a more compact baseball head trainer. The use of this trainer is primarily for baseball. If you have any additional concerns, please let us know. We eagerly await your shipment. Wishing you the best of luck in your rookie league. Thank you for taking the time to read this.br>

Is this item suitable for a 13-year-old child? He's 5'10" tall and weighs around 200 pounds, right?

You should be fine as long as the person holding it for him is of similar height to him and can hold on to it even if a stronger person hits it.

Is this the same as the Sklz Hurricane Category 4 with the exception that someone has to hold the stick?

Yes, this trainer will require someone to hold the stick. The nice thing about this is that the person holding it can adjust the height and depth at which the ball is struck. The automated ones, I believe, keep the ball in the same spot every time, which isn't the case in a game.

surpasses every expectation wow
5/5

This is absolutely incredible. It's difficult to believe it was only $34. br>My 8-year-old slugger, who has never enjoyed indoor practice swinging, now swings 100 times a day, and even more on weekends, and he loves it. br>His progress is immediately noticeable and quite dramatic. Swing repetitions help him develop muscle memory, allowing him to focus on game situations rather than swing mechanics during competition. br>While the manufacturer recommends that batters use their 'performance' bats when using the swing trainer, my guy has been using his 'big' bat the entire time, and neither the bat nor the training stick show any signs of wear. I'm surprised the ball doesn't shatter when he hits it so hard, but it's still as good and solid as the day we got it. Players who are older (middle school, high school) are a possibility. ) aren't supposed to use performance bats with the trainer, but we haven't had any problems with it. Maybe the precaution is to protect the bat, but we have a 'top shelf' bat, and it's fine; with a lower quality bat, the bat could be damaged. that is the strength of the practice stick/ball.

Exceptional! For my 6-year-old daughter, I've been using this product
5/5

She is playing softball for the first time this year. Her moods were all over the place. This is understandable. She's now 3 for 3 on the day. This product significantly aided in the transformation of her chop swing into a nice level swing.

You're not going to be let down
5/5

Don't waste your money on the other batting practice products available. This will help your child's eye-hand coordination and hitting skills. I've spent a lot of money on products that look cool and seem to work, and I've even seen infomercials and thought to myself, "Yeah, that'll work. " nope. a complete waste of money Don't squander your cash on sting operations. They are completely ineffective.

Has lasted through a season of team thrashings
4/5

This is a nice hitting stick that has held up well over the course of the season. Good: br>br> br>Color is bright, making it easy to see in the late afternoonbr>Easy to hold, and the strap is a nice touchbr>br>Bad: br>Strap is almost unusable due to thread breakage. br>I don't see the point of it; it's essentially a warm-up tool. If that's all you want to do with it, it'll suffice.

This is a long-lasting and wise purchase
5/5

As a baseball coach, I can attest to the fact that our team makes good use of this hit stick. It's been fine for the past two years. I'm confident we'll be able to get another year or two out of it. It's ideal for teaching swing mechanics and getting deck hitters warmed up.

Excellent product! This is my second time owning one
5/5

This is a fantastic product for coaching young ball players on their mechanics and warming them up before a game, and I had to purchase another after losing the first. I'm not sure how it would hold up to heavy use on older kids, but it's perfect for the kids I'm working with (6-year-olds). 9), everything is in order.

Purchase one for yourself and your child to train with
5/5

This trainer is what I use to get my son pumped up before a game. To perform at his best at the age of eight, he would need to get aggressive and pumped up before a game (as do most kids his age). Prior to the game, I was able to see where he was at in terms of the amount of effort he put into hitting the ball by using the hit stick. I could focus him in minutes and have him "swinging away. " br>br>It's amazing what a plastic stick with a ball at the end can accomplish. This stick, the SKLZ zip-it, is something we use on a regular basis. When training at home, use the hit and Goalrilla Spring Trainer.

For hitting instruction, I really like this tool
5/5

I had never used this tool before seeing it at a baseball practice of another team this spring and making the purchase right away. I believe it is the best substitute for actual batting practice, which is not always possible in the city. We can fine-tune our children's swings, add some high or low pitches, and concentrate on the fundamentals of hitting. As a proud but unassuming teen and 8-year-old coach, and 9- year- I would suggest this tool to anyone over the age of eighteen.
