By the way, a word of caution about using a tee to weigh it down. If a child knocks it over on a swing, it can indicate that the swing into the ball was not correct; however, if a child hits it cleanly, even at the bottom of the ball, the tee will stay upright. Now for a word of warning. It's possible to dislodge the cone from the rubber seal if you weigh it down and kids keep hitting the rubber (while the tee stays in place). Putting a 5lb weight on a good player 12 is fine, but I wouldn't do it on a younger player.
Yes, it will fit; I have my daughter's tee set up in this manner.
I haven't tried it with softballs, but it appears to be sturdy enough.
What do you think? I just got mine, and I haven't yet attempted to replace the rubber. I saw replacement rubber tops for the ATEC T3 tee on Amazon, but I'm not sure if they fit. This tee is of excellent quality and well worth the price!

This tee has proven to be well worth the money for me as a coach of 12U ball. It has taken a beating from bats and other players, as my players have missed the ball on occasion and hit the tee instead of the ball, with no damage to the stand. It tips when players lose their focus and hit the tee instead of the ball, which helps us identify whether or not the players are "squaring up" the ball. If it becomes too much of a problem, a weighted doughnut can be thrown around the tee's neck at the bottom to help keep it in place. Overall, it's pricey, but I intend to keep it for a long time.
This item is made with care and precision. You'll be able to use it right away because it's simple to put together. It is beneficial to add weight to the base.
Compared to the other batting tee, it's much lighter in weight. I'm not sure what the other one's name is, but if you coach baseball or softball, you should definitely get this one. With all of the gear you'll need for practices, anything that's lighter is a huge plus. It also meets the specifications it claims to meet. It's well-built and comes in a variety of heights.
It's small and lightweight, and it's simple to disassemble for storage in a batbag. It comes highly recommended!.
It's a great tee for transport and height adjustment. I used it to train my 11-year-old and 8-year-old children. The top cone has already begun to disintegrate and is no longer useful. It will set you back $70 to replace it. It's probably a good idea to replace it. I would give it a higher rating if it were more durable, but I am disappointed to say the least because I had high hopes for it.
Never again will you purchase a rubber tee. br>After going through a new rubber tee every year, I finally gave in and purchased a higher-quality version. end tee. Despite the fact that it cost four times as much as the others, I don't anticipate ever needing to replace it. This is something I should have purchased a long time ago. br>In addition to its durability, it has the following advantages over a traditional rubber tee:
- - Does not topple overbr>- The ball holder is almost frictionless, resulting in a much cleaner tee shot. br>- Traditional rubber tees have only half the height adjustment range. br>I strongly advise you to do so.
Tee is excellent for batting. Don't squander your money on tees made of other plastic or that aren't well-made.
I'd purchase it again.
