Questions & Answers
Mats like this one are hard to find.
The mat we have in our house has only ever been used for turf shoes indoors. Since the mat is fairly thick, I would imagine wearing metal cleats would cause the mat to easily wear. Although I have used the turf shoes for 4 years, I haven't seen much wear on the soles.
I noticed that the pitching rubber is glued onto the body of the board and is very well attached. I have seen my daughter pitch thousands of times on this mat over the past year. It is holding up really well! It is in perfect condition, and there is no wear visible on the pitching rubber or the mat. We have found this to be a fantastic investment!
As long as it was outside during softball season, there were never any issues.

Foam that is thin and weak. While I accidentally missed it before ordering, hopefully you won't as well), the photos are either of a different product or inaccurate zoom levels, relative to the foam thickness (and cropping of turf height). As for the pitching rubber itself, it's easier to bite than I anticipated After a child has used it for a single time, the picture was taken.
Having practiced pitching with this toy, we changed our minds once our daughter 10 practiced it. Your player should get a pitching machine sooner rather than later if he is serious about it. These are the same mats we use in high school. This pitching rubber matches the pitching rubber attached to it to produce good leg drive and the power lines are nicely painted to produce better visibility. This looks to be a great artificial turf (not the cheap rug material) with a high-quality base. Since we started using it, we have used it four times For one month, you would visit 5x a week. When it's finished being used, we roll up the paper. This would definitely be a purchase I would make.
I am glad I made the purchase.
We have a daughter who is now 16, and this mat still works great! In addition to the indoor pitching area, we have an outdoor pitching area for drills when it's raining. Throughout the entire year, it is used. As of right now, the pitching plate is still secured to the mat and we roll and unroll it regularly. The weights in our garage help hold the roll in place after we removed the double-sided tape. My wife and I spent nearly all our money on it, and we have never regretted our purchase. Here's an update In order to upgrade my rating to 5, I am leaving it at 4. It is still a good pitching mat for us, and we use it regularly after 5 years. The pitching plate gets taped to the floor of our basement so it won't move. We keep it in the basement right now and tape the top 5' (the area with the pitching plate) with double sided tape so that it won't In spite of the pressure of the pitching plate, the mat remains firmly attached to it. However, the pitching plate has chipped a little around the edges from the cleats, and the turf part is still in great shape. It does not look badly worn in, but it does look worn. Typically, we fold it or roll it up after use, and the underside of it has cracked some. I think it is a very good product. Original It will be used in our basement during the winter by our 12-year-old daughter. With her relentless drive, she won't let anything stand in her way If you put Duct Tape on each corner, you may be able to resolve This item has a 4 star rating because it moves a little bit, but it is extremely heavy, durable, and the pitching plate is very well anchored down. The system has been with us for around 6 months, and we have used it whenever it was too cold or wet to practice outside (and many people have been dealing with cold, wet springs). We roll it up to keep it from getting filthy, so I haven't noticed any signs of wear. It appears that the underside of the mat is cracking a little, but I am confident that it will not negatively affect the mat. It is estimated that our daughter pitches 120 pitches on it at a time, whether using cleats, turf shoes, or tennis shoes, and that it has been used for around 5,000 pitches or more, and the top is still as new as the day I bought it! There is only a slight crack on the underside of the fabric from rolling and unrolling it after use (the only evidence that it has been used).
Training tool that will last for years.
It is well Has been holding up well and looks great.
This is a great platform for practicing pitching. As of yet, the product has performed well.
We just started pitching this year, and will be looking for a pitching mat for our 10 and 13 year old girls. Our gym has hard plastic floors, so we use it there. It appears that the mat does not budge at all even when I (180 pounds) Hope it continues to hold up well. It appears to be very sturdy and well built.
