Can a mask such as this fit an 11-year ?

This should be the case. You can tighten or loosen it by pulling on or removing the adjustable straps. This depends on whether the 11-year-old is male or female.

A 9 year old should be able to understand this?

This is still in use by my nephews, as far as I am aware. Currently, the oldest child is 12 (although he's a little smaller), but the other children are 10 and It's too big for a 5-inch This is her first year. However, I would say that a nine-year-old should be able to handle it!

What sort of strap does it have?

It appears to carry that information as I haven't seen it in awhile.

What is the fit of this over a ?

As a child, I believe it would have made a difference. My son is a teenager now, and I am not sure if he can still wear it over a batting helmet because of the adjustments.

The 11-year-old in my family A fun one was on the wish list of my 11-year old son. There is nothing he would rather do. It was great to find a "used" one in great condition for a great price. I like how comfortable it is and how well-padded it is. There is a variety of sizes to fit different faces, so it can be used by both younger and older children.
