Both my husband and I suffer from knee pain when we hike, bike, etc. , and these have been a real help. I use without straps to reduce swelling and he uses with straps for support (old injuries). They stay up while we are having fun, which is most important. The best way to deal with getting old and/or paying for previous fun is to get these!.
