It is small. It is recommended not to buy a large size to grow into as they are light weight. A 9 yr old player of average size is fine. I would say small from my experience as an instructor and coach.
I purchased a size large based on the height and build of my daughter. A size 11 and a height of almost 5'5", she is a little girl. The shoes were a little big, but not too big, so she could grow into them by next year and still have room to spare.
The youth large from this brand I purchased last year is in excellent condition. It still fits my son, who is 12 years old, 5'5", and 115 pounds, so he can make use of them. Although I did not see an adult size for these, I would guess you would want to look for something like adult small or something similar.
One pair of shoes Each leg has its own. Thanks a lot!

As a result of being recommended and giving my daughter knee savers, we purchased these with the Louisville Slugger catcher set. The only problem is that there is only one. The clips on the skin guards CANNOT be passed through the loops on the knee savers, as you can see from your photo. If a product is listed for purchase together, but it won't fit, then it shouldn't be purchased together.
Although another person commented that these would not fit the Louisville Series 5, they actually It's impossible to get the clasp through the hole in the dog collar In the picture showing this reviewer's knee savers, you will notice a ring on the knee saver, but it is only necessary to remove the strap from the catcher's gear, thread it through the knee savers, and reattach it It's that simple. I purchased the small savers for my 10 year old son since they were just the right size for him.
Our daughter has been using them with the Louisville Slugger Series 5 Intermediate Catcher's Gear that we bought on Amazon. They work wonderfully. Squatting is made easier for her because she has more support behind her knees when it comes to her knees. worried about the wear and tear on her knees while she was playing catcher, but these pads have helped immensely. These knee savers allow her to pop up with greater ease and play a lot more innings as a catcher without feeling fatigued. I recommend them and would buy them again without hesitation.
They are plastic loops and not medals as I originally thought. There are some difficulties getting the straps from the shin guards through the knee savers' loops, but I suppose this is a good thing so when the shin guards are removed from the catcher's legs, the pads won't fall out. It appears that the pads themselves are sturdy, and I am hoping that they will last my daughter until she has outgrown them. I bought the small size for her and she is nine years old. Other catchers on the team use this, and they all think it's more comfortable than their traditional catching equipment.
Having learned the hard way that such a statement is not true, I want to tell you about it. The coach should be willing to go the extra mile for his players, he tells my players as a coach. To sum it up, I probably would have needed knee replacements if I hadn't used these along with shin guards while catching BP for an hour. Knees are saved by these things as they claim. Your players will be more likely to play longer if they are healthy.
I bought these for my 9 year old son, who is almost 5 ft. and 100 pounds, and they fit easily and are working well for him. Not sure if the smaller ones would have fit his catchers gear, but these worked perfectly since his gear is a little bigger than what is normally worn by 9 year old kids.
A Mizuno catching set came with these which I bought for my 11 year old son. Having these on the set has been a great addition for my son. They were easy to attach. The new poles are MUCH more comfortable for him to use while catching than the old ones he used last year. It is certain that these are doing a lot of good for his knees by taking more weight off of them.
In this case, our coach bought a brand that was different from ours. They are great knee savers from the Easton brand. A different brand was purchased by our coach, but we struggled with it so much it never stayed on and they ripped so easily. I particularly like how easy they are to use, as well as how quick to put in, and how much He is more likely to be supported by this brand than by others. It is a recommendation I would give to anyone.
