How big is this gear? Is it closer to a size 12 or a size ?

I would say it was a larger size, so maybe somewhere between a 16 and a 17

Can you tell me what size this catcher's gear is?

Suitable for ages 9 to 12, this set is part of the Junior Victory Series

What do you think about this for an 11 year old that is about 5'4" and 130 pounds?

That would be my answer. In the 12-month period I bought a 15 year old but he was too big for my 12 year old since he weighed only 88 pounds and stood under five feet

You have a great set there! Velcro on the chin pad may be a hazard (but it is not hazardous)
5/5

Definitely worth a listen. The pros are The 12-year-old A size 16 was a perfect fit for my 5'7" 115-pound frame There are 120 pounds in her. I'm a boy. a hard time finding a good fit for other brands (make sure you check actual measurements in inches of each A person's age or whether they are small, medium, or In order to get the right fit, we would have had to mix and match pieces of other brands. A 12" Under Armour shirt For us, 16 was the most appropriate option across the board. Compared to the Wilson CK1, this helmet was also significantly more comfortable for my son. Shoulder protection that can be removed, as well as the ability to crouch, were In the beginning, I thought the chest protector would be uncomfortable to wear and bulky, but after adjusting it a bit and putting it to I liked the shin guards. Cons Velcro tabs on the chin pads of the helmet are a total waste of money. Maybe we got a defective batch, but they barely held it, and son lost the pad when it was on its way to him. In the end, I chose to replace the Velcro with my own and pulled it out again. I would give a 4 out of 5. I gave this set a 5 due to this, but I rounded it up due to the rest of the set. Make sure you watch out for Velcro on the padding on the chin!.

The product is of good quality
5/5

I purchased it for my 14 year old son who plays Jr Football. The freshman played on the varsity baseball team this year. His height is 5'7" and his weight is 160 pounds, and he wears the size 12 It suits him very well to wear the 16 model. the pieces of gear seem to be of high quality, and he seems to be comfortable in it. He doesn't wear the throat guard. The chest protector comes with a removable groin pad, which he took off and does not wear at all. I am glad to have the helmet and now chest protector certification in place for next year and the years following. It is a great value for the price, I would recommend it.

Nope, it won't work
3/5

Although the equipment is nice, everything does not fit together perfectly. It was a gift for my son, who is 10. It wasn't even possible to get the mask over his head even though he's not a big It's not that he's small, but he's not oversized, either. There was too much space in the chest protector. It would have been impossible for him to use As for the shin guards, they looked great. However, they are all the same size. It would have been easy for me to keep the mask and let him grow into the chest protector if it had fit. The mask is small according to other reviews I read. It would have been better for me if I had That is correct. I do not understand what UA is doing. We made sure everything was done successfully and on time. It's not the sellers' fault. There was a 9-point margin of error Kit that is 12 years old. Our return was also processed timely after we sent it back. We awarded it three stars for the way it was handled and for the looks of the gear. I like it a lot.

The picture and information are incorrect There are nine sets
3/5

The chest protector is nice, and the helmet looks good, but the 7-inch ones look really crappy Leg guards with the 9 feature do not come with double layers of padding unlike what is depicted in the picture/product information. I had to call the seller (she was excellent) and they checked other sets of the same size. They confirmed that this is the case for all 7 sets. There are nine sets in total. As UA must have used a stock photo in There are double layer for 9) as well.

The gear is excellent for the introduction level
4/5

My tall 8 year old boy liked this gear, and it provided adequate protection for him during his first pitching lessons. The pitch gets harder in older grades, so I don't want to use it there. It does not have the same level of coverage on the shoulders as the All-Star There are also Star Gear gear on our ship, along with some chest pads that are lower quality. In addition, it's a very useful tool for a young catcher learning the basics.

These are the catcher's shoes I bought for my travel softball team and they say they're comfy. I bought it for a 12 year old girl who wears an adult small shirt.

It is a well-made piece of equipment
5/5

It is the first year of high school for my son, who is 11, 5'11" and 90 lbs. Helmet and all other items fit perfectly. The gear seems to be of good quality. The driver was on time, and I had a.

Fit is small on this helmet
3/5

This helmet is too small for my son. He is 10-years-old and does not have enough arms to be able to use one hand to remove it. I tried to loosen the straps as far as I could, but he is still unable to do it. Leg guard and chest guard fit like a glove.
