Will this work for my son who is 5 9 and 160 lbs?

It is true. When he squats, the knee guards stick up just a bit. However, when he drops to block, the pads fit snugly around the knee and he never has a problem. I believe this would be a good size for someone at 5'9".

Do you know if the chest protector is nocsae-certified?

The chest protector's label states that it is made of neoprene

5 feet 2 inches and 83 pounds describes the size of my son. Skinny as a rail. Do you think this is an Intermediate size?

Try them on if you can. It is hard to say I would go to a store and touch them up. That is the height and weight of my son, who is 110 pounds. He does not fit into the intermediate size.

The average height and weight of my son is 4'10", about 78 pounds. What size would you recommend? We don't want the youth version because we would only get a year out of it. ?

Rather than the intermediate, I think the XL might be too I ordered the smaller size for my son because he is 5' 3" tall and the larger size would be too small for him within the year. Additionally, it comes in the bigger helmet size, which is perfect for my kid since he has a big head. If this will be his position for a while, I would go for the larger one and make it fit. It is possible to consider a cheaper or used set until he is a few more inches tall. There's nothing better than this

This is a great fit. A 13-year-old girl, 5'6 and 110 pounds, I'm standing at the top of my class. Catchers like this one are amazing and fit well with their adjustable wrist openings leaving room for growth. When it comes to high speed blocking, the chest protector is almost painless and In addition to fitting snuggly and being very light, these leg guards are also comfortable to move It is a medium weight helmet that has very good visibility, though it is a bit heavy(but not too heavy). Lastly, the equipment is extremely sturdy and comfortable and deserves to be scored as a 5. In addition to their catchers' mitts, I highly recommend them. Having worn my all star cm3100 catchers mitt for several months, I'm very happy with it. This is a great pop track that is comfortable and lightweight.

Gear that keeps your catchers at their best

It is such a great piece of I have a 12 year old son who is 5'3" and weighs 120 pounds The outfit does fit him a little big, but that gives him plenty of room for growth. Louisville Slugger has been his go-to gear for a long time, but this gear significantly improves on it. As a result, he has a much better range of motion in his legs and I am really grateful for the added protection. There is an increased power and vigor to it The comfort level has improved. The new gear provides much better protection than his old gear (different brand, less expensive), and because players at this age pitch faster, I am more confident that he will be able to catch. While it is a little big, it does not bother him enough that he constantly adjusts it while playing, and it feels comfortable to him. A very good value for the money.

Those with short waists have a need for a chest protector that is smaller

It's an excellent piece of gear that my son loves. Since he is extremely short in waist, we had to order a separate chest protector in youth size, but the helmet and other items are in great condition It was a perfect fit for the leg guards. The fish are of great quality, and the angling environment is safer as well.
