The fall of this year was my youngster's first season playing tball. Despite his small size, his head is like a peanut. not easy to find a safe helmet that could be worn with a face mask. He can wear this helmet comfortably and it is of high quality. The following information is important On the product pictures, you can see a hole for a mask on each side. There is no truth in them. Facemasks sold on Amazon are able to attach to this facemask because it has 2 holes on each side.
I bought an 11-inch senior helmet for my child, and it fits well The year is An old man. He can grow into it even though it's a little loose, so he has room to grow into it. The one thing I dislike is that the photo shows a maroon/dark red color, but when we received it, it was more of a bright fire engine red shade, so it doesn't match his uniform as well as I would have liked it to. The item isn't that important, so I guess I won't return it. As you can see from the photo, the scarlet color will be bright in reality and not dark.
There is an original Rawlings (green one) in my possession. There is no difference in serial numbers. The product is an imitation for a low price. A lighter shade. It is smaller than you think. We found the size in junior for the junior, but it is too small for him, so we ordered the junior, but it is way too big for him. In fact, it doesn't touch his ears at all. The size I ordered was too big for me, so I returned it. He would rather have this helmet than any other which is why his coach wants him to have it. I have never had a helmet not fit, so the style of this helmet I would say that my son is average in size or he may even be.
The scratching on his head is constant, and he must constantly take it off. He put it on in the first second, and it hasn't stopped doing it since. We bought the same helmet from Dick's and it was completely hassle-free.
A deep scratch appeared to run through the front of the helmet, and there were paint chips missing. We aren't sure if the helmet was damaged during shipping or if it was an exchange. The larger size fits my 5 year old son perfectly, who has the same built as a 6 year old.
