The ones I received were slightly different from the ones I love how well the helmet fits! A helmet with a head size of 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 is available for purchase. The size is 7 1/2 and I recommend them for young children between the ages of 5 and 12. The helmet has vents on the sides and top in order to keep your head cool. The helmet ranges from size 10 to size 15 (depending on your child's size)
. It was a little different from what I pictured. I ordered three of them. have one metal snap on the bottom of the sides for a chin strap (you cannot get one with them). My face guard did not come with the other metal snap in the picture, but rather had two screw holes for a guard. *This is the face guard It is a good idea to pad these and protect them I think these are well made and should last quite a long time if properly taken care of. My overall opinion of these helmets is very positive.

In the midst of starting baseball this year, I bought this for my son to use as an add-on. Since I only paid a few bucks for it, I was hesitant. Even at full price, it would be a great buy. He does not seem to mind wearing it since he is about 9 years old and it is a perfect fit. Also like the padding inside that is not too bulky and makes it comfortable for him. Batting and running with those bases can lead to a lot of hits, so make sure you have the right protective gear.
The helmet is in no way lacking in any way. It's a reasonable price, and the COVID era is a great time for having your own equipment. The size fit both my 8 and 5 year old well and left plenty of room for growth. This is one of the best investments parents can make.
As described, this helmet is just like the picture. As a result of the thick foam inside, it is comfortable on a range of heads shapes and sizes. This is what I bought for my 3 and 4 year old boys to play tball. I am also able to wear the helmet comfortably.

The chin strap buttons are positioned to fit a much bigger head, so she can't make them sit on the chin, so they just hang over her neck. I think she can still see most of the time when she runs to first. My guess is that 1 year after she turns 7, the helmet will feel secure for her average size head.
