These gloves astounded me as well. I bought them in my size, but they were too tight in the palm area and never stretched. They were given away by me. I have good gloves, but they are too small for me.
I believe they run true to size, as every pair of batting gloves I've purchased, regardless of manufacturer, has been an XL. These gloves are fantastic and by far the most durable I've ever bought.

These gloves have a fantastic design that I really like. They're true to size and ideal for hot weather. I like the pad, which is made of a thicker, almost suede-like material. The velcro strap is also very nice. My problem is with the grip, which isn't great in my opinion. I'm using these for slow pitch softball, so there's no pine tar or added adhesives other than a grip on the bat, and the pattern appears to be tacky but isn't there, almost slick. If you use pine tar, I believe they are superior. The palms look like they'd be able to withstand a lot of abuse. I've played 15 games and they haven't gotten any tackier; however, a seam around the thumb has popped, which is to be expected. Some parts of the glove have a nice feel to them, while others have a cheap feel to them. They have a lot of potential, and they look fantastic right now!.
They're not bad. They're tough, but even with the velcro fastened, they're a little loose in the wrists. They're in great shape after a summer of softball.
The design is bold and fun, and the quality appears to be comparable to other brands. The only issue is that the youth medium is more like a youth small from other brands in terms of sizing.
He is, however, a man child who abuses his athletic equipment. He's been wearing Spiderz for quite some time now. They do have a tendency to rip at the seams and lose their grip when wet. He likes them so much that I'm going to look for a new product that lasts a little longer.
I mostly bought them to wear under my fielding glove on the left side, and they're thin enough that they don't interfere with squeezing my glove. Definitely worth it!.
No other batting gloves will be purchased. I wish I'd known about these things years ago!.
He is 6'4" and weighs 250 pounds, and they are a perfect fit for him. They're of excellent craftsmanship. I'd buy these again if he ever needed them. Excellent transaction with prompt delivery.
We've only been playing for a month and the batting gloves are already falling apart; these are not recommended for serious baseball players.
