The item arrived in good working order. En el empaque, en el empaque, en I'm a man, my hands are small, and I wear a size L, and they fit me perfectly. The delivery took a little longer than expected.
These Franklin gloves were made specifically for women, and the fit is excellent. I usually wear a size 7 glove because my wrist to the tip of my middle finger measures exactly 7", so I should have ordered a large in these, but I took a chance and ordered a medium because I have slender fingers and hands and a large feels too bulky. Right was my choice because they fit perfectly and the fingers are just long enough (the middle finger measures almost 3 1/2" from bottom to top). However, because I have long nails, they get a little squished, but they are still comfortable. br>br>I like the red color, but I'm a little concerned about color transfer. I've only used these for bike riding so far, so we'll see if that's a problem. br>br>I do have a couple of observations about the gloves' appearance. They positioned the long bottom Velcro strip incorrectly. My wrists are just under 6" in circumference, but the top strip only reaches halfway over the bottom strip, creating an unsightly appearance (see photo). They should've used red Velcro or placed it in a better location. Unless you have a 4 or 5 inch wrist, you won't need all that extra length. These aren't children's gloves; they're for women. I'm going to remove the stitching on the exposed half, cut it to size, and then sew it back together. I also don't like how the side opening is gapped out. Furthermore, I believe the large Franklin logo patches that cover the tops of your hands are ostentatious and cheap-looking. They should have gone with a more subdued option, such as the small rubbery patch on the underside of the wrist. br>br>If I run into any issues with durability, I'll post an update.
These gloves are for playing RED handed - they have a comfortable fit and a good grip with velcro at the wrist. It's just as brash as what's on the screen - It's also very comfortable. They have a good reputation. Sized with a great combination of spandex for stretch and leather for grip. Ours has survived a number of tournaments and is still going strong. If there was one thing we could change, it would be the color of the wrist velcro - It's white, but not in the way you'd expect it to be. The design would be so much better if the velcro grip-ons were white instead of black. Red was the color of the strip. It's only a minor niggle. These are fantastic batting gloves for any Red Sox fan! team.

br>These are sold as women's gloves, but I'm not sure there's a need for that because everyone's hands are different sizes and shapes. These were fine, if a little small, for my 12-year-old son's baseball season this spring. However, the overall size is small, not due to the shape of the hand. br>br>He only had a few practice sessions with these before the season was halted due to COVID-related issues. He only got to use them for a few days, but he liked them. They're grippy, appear to be well-made, and have a nice appearance - The vibrant red appealed to him. I'll update this review once he returns to baseball and has a chance to put it to the test. He does, however, recommend these gloves for both men and women so far.
The material on the inside of the glove is very soft and comfortable, and I bought a size medium and they fit me perfectly. The leather on the outside is extremely flexible right away, and they didn't need to be worn several times to achieve this. The glove's stitching is excellent, and it has held up well over time. The red I received was a lovely shade of red that wasn't too bright. The name "Franklin" on the glove's top is a little larger than I'd like. The wrist velcro is extremely strong, and they stay in place perfectly.
They appear to be a good glove, and I read the reviews before ordering to make sure it was what I needed. I noticed that some people were having problems with them, but I decided to give it a shot, and so far ours have had no issues, and my daughter has been using them at her practice for three weeks.
