These were purchased for my son, who had a blister on his palm and needed them. These were suggested because they have an extra piece of leather for added protection in that area. Unfortunately, the extra piece became bunched up inside the glove after only one batting practice use, resulting in a ball of leather that rendered the glove useless. I was able to cut a small slice on the inside of the glove and remove the extra piece, making them appear to be "normal" gloves again, but the extra piece was a nuisance and a waste for these expensive gloves.
Easton provides poor customer service and does not appear to stand behind their product, as one of the gloves tore after only a few uses. This time, I was able to persuade Easton to send a replacement pair, but stay with me for the rest of the story. Then, as you can see in the photo, the stitching on the replacement pair came undone, leaving a large hole, and Easton has refused to replace them. (It's been a few weeks. ) ) That's two pairs of the same gloves that have worn out after only a few uses. Purchase a new pair of batting gloves to save yourself the trouble.
Not good. These gloves were purchased for my son, who is 12 years old. Within two weeks (four games) It ripped like a photo after four 2 hour practices. We'll give it a shot because he gets blisters from batting. Padding, he said, was beneficial. Overall, it was a waste of money.
My son appreciates the extra padding, and the gloves fit true to size. The issue I'm having is that they're falling apart after less than ten weeks. br>br>We ordered them on October 21st and received them a few days later. This is what I'm writing on November 3rd. My son is currently training three times per week (though not every session is hitting). The stitching is already coming out, indicating that the glove will fall apart soon; it's difficult to see in the photo because the string is the same color as the leather, but the tip and base of the index finger, as well as the middle finger, are already loose. br>br>Disappointing because the gloves are nice and comfortable, but we can't afford to replace them all the time.
The leather is of poor quality, as is the fabric between the leather. During the first 11 years of use, it became undone. This model has been updated. I began the procedure for returning the item.
It's all good. They are precisely who they claim to be - Gloves made by Easton. They're well-made, look fantastic, fit perfectly, and arrived promptly. Thank you very much! br>.
After a few weeks of use, I'm only hitting the tee with them. The stitching on the gloves had begun to unravel. On the top, it's breathable, but the stitching isn't very strong.
These gloves were purchased for my son, who plays baseball in high school. During the initial use, the finger seams began to separate. I've spent a lot less money on much more durable batting gloves than these. My recommendation is to get a new pair of batting gloves.
