I honestly have no idea. This swimsuit was stolen by a member of my daughter's swim team, and I haven't seen it since we purchased it.

Why waste time shipping something that is obviously defective? I returned it right away and began to doubt Amazon's reliability after receiving multiple items that were defective or not as described.
I didn't notice all of the negative feedback about the suit's strange back straps. I'm not sure I would have bought it if I had. My daughter didn't even try it on because I realized it was way too big as soon as I saw it in the bag. For lessons, I only required a basic swimsuit. Because half of the reviews stated that this suit runs small, I went up a size. Mistake. Sorry, but if you have an average-sized family, you'll have to settle for second best. This suit does not run large, so if you're a child of a certain size, this is not the suit for you Swimsuits like this (athletic) are supposed to be tight, so this one fits true to size. "There is no such thing as a too small swimsuit," one of my older daughter's swimming coaches once said. That is, if you can get it on, it is a good fit. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Simply size up unless your child is significantly larger than average, and there will be no problems with fit.
This suit is lovely and appears to be of good quality, but it is extremely small. My daughter is very small; she usually wears a size 7/8 in clothing and bathing suits, and even that is too big on her at times. (Weighing approximately 58 pounds and standing 4'2"), we ordered a size 8. When she tried this suit on, it was so small that I had to double-check the size tag to make sure I had ordered and received the correct size. br>If you plan to buy this suit, I recommend going up a size or two.
When the first suit arrived, it was missing the silicone gripper at the back leg opening. I contacted Amazon, and they promptly dispatched a replacement suit. A silicone gripper at the leg opening was also missing from the second suit. So I went to the Speedo website and emailed them directly. They also sent me a suit, which was still missing the silicone gripper at the back leg opening on the third one. It's clearly visible in the highlighted images, and it's also mentioned in the description below. Clearly, there is a problem at the Speedo factory, as the silicone grippers are missing. The silicone grips were a feature on all three suits, according to the description tags. My granddaughter is in the upper levels of swimming and required a suit that provided this feature. The silicone grippers are mentioned in item 6 of the suit's description, which needs to be removed from Amazon.

When I first saw this suit in the mail, I was blown away. It was an excellent match. It was packed away after 5 months of use in a pool twice a week, until I got it out again last week, and when I put it on, it felt strange, and I got in the pool and turned into a walking cloth bubble. The suit's elasticity had completely disappeared. I looked up the possible causes of this happening to swimsuits on the internet, but I didn't do any of them, so the only explanation is a lack of quality. I have high expectations for Speedo swimwear.
My daughter is on a swim team, so I wanted to get her a good, long-lasting swimsuit; I grew up wearing Speedo swimsuits, and they were always reliable. This one. Not at all! When we first got it on December 5th, it was a bright purple/blue color; now, on January 18th, it's a faded gray color! It's ridiculous!.
My daughter usually wears a size 14/16 and has a stocky build. Despite the fact that that size is a little large, it is more comfortable and allows for growth. The size 16 suit is ideal for her, and she adores it. She has practice three times a week, and after each practice, we quickly wash it; it's holding up beautifully, and I just ordered another in a different color. Swimsuits are generally overpriced in my opinion, but if you get what you pay for, this one is well worth the money!.
adorably adorable Order a size up if you are between sizes. My petite 12-year-old daughter was able to wear a size 14 with ease. I ordered a size 12 and then went back to get a size up just in case, and I'm glad I did because I got a size 14 yesterday and still haven't received the size 12 I wanted to compare, but the size 14 fits perfectly- I was worried it would be a knock off speedo, but this one is great quality- The straps aren't stretched out like in other reviews, and I adore the NO WEDGY strips!.
