Questions & Answers

Is there a tint on any of these that would be suitable for indoor swimming?

Blue, Clear, and Aqua, for example, have light or clear lenses under the mirrored coating and can be worn indoors. But non- The Women's Vanquisher goggles don't come with mirrored lenses in clear or blue, which are ideal for indoor swimming.

Other Vanquisher goggles I've owned have snapped at the strap adjustment piece. Are they more durable, or are they made of a more pliable material?

Yes, these goggles are a favorite of mine.

I'm curious about the cap's construction. ?

It's like a rubber type, but it's softer than rubber and goes on the head easily with the long hair one I ordered. It's fantastic, and I'll be purchasing it again.

Is the black ones' tint truly green?

Yes, with mirror speedo goggles, there is a slight green tint.

Great goggles, but changing the nosepiece is a pain
5/5

I'm a 75-year-old woman who goes swimming five times a week for an hour. I'm a petite woman (5'1'', 103 pounds) with a narrow face. I used to use the Barracuda Ultimate for a long time, but it's been out of stock for months. As a result, a new look was required. br>br> After a month of trial and error, I've discovered that, due to my fine features, I perform best with a racing goggle that can be worn under my swim cap. I tried three different Aquasphere styles, and they all leaked. The Ladies Vanquisher, on the other hand, is ideal: it is extremely comfortable, never feels too tight, and most importantly, it does not leak. The durability of this goggle will be determined over time. br>br>However, I was on the fence about awarding four stars because there are two issues. The first one is a major issue. It takes a lot of finger strength to replace the nosepiece with a smaller size, so I had to ask someone to help me. While this is a one-time deal, It's an important time event. The second issue is that the Ladies Vanquisher is the only place where you can get the mirror style. I'd prefer a goggle without mirrors because I swim indoors, but the pink one is fine. br>br>According to Speedo Customer Service, the Ladies and regular Vanquishers are identical except for the little plastic bag with the four nose pieces, which is scaled down for a woman's face.

Eureka! There aren't any leaks and there isn't any fog
5/5

It's difficult for me to find goggles that don't leak. I'm a grown woman with a small face and deep-set eyes. I've tried a variety of brands and shapes, and I've spent a lot of time adjusting them, but I'm still getting leaks. THESE ARE NOT LEAKY AT ALL! They have four different noses to choose from. pieces so that the goggles' width can be adjusted to perfection and a good seal can be formed. I don't even have to tighten the straps all the way around my eyes to get "lines. " They don't get foggy either. I swim 30 laps at a consistent pace. My face begins to warm after 40 minutes; These are just as obvious at the end of the swim as they are at the start. (In fact, I see a lot of stuff on the pool's bottom that I'd rather not know about. ).

Excellent goggles for swimming in open water
5/5

These are a great pair of goggles for swimming in open water. After a year of wearing these Speedo goggles, I decided to upgrade to tinted versions. I don't think there's much of a difference between the male and female versions. Both of them are at ease at work. They did not fog up at all the first time I tried them on. It did, however, fog up the second time I wore it. So all you have to do is use your spit or a dab of baby shampoo, and it appears to work. Antifog sprays do not appear to work for very long. However, as a whole, these are excellent goggles. I've also been swimming competitively for a long time.

After two months, it was no longer viable
3/5

Until they broke, the goggles were excellent. They lasted about two months, with outdoor swimming (for fun, not laps) at the community pool twice a week on average. 5 - Every swim session lasts two hours. My ten- The color appealed to my year-old daughter, and they worked well at the outdoor pool, shielding her from the sun. Because they fogged up so easily, she had to remove and rinse them on a regular basis. br>br>While she was wearing them and swimming under water, they snapped off. The part of the goggle that connects the nose piece has broken, as you can see in the photo. br>br>I spent a lot of money on these goggles for her because of the following reasons: 1. br>br> ) They were a distinctive color, making them easy to distinguish from other people's goggles at the pool, as well as her friend's. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br ) They were at ease in their surroundings. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. They didn't leak at all. They were very good at what they were doing. 4. br>br> ) They shielded her eyes from the harsh sunlight and reduced glare from the water. 5. br>br> ) I assumed they'd last a long time (but I was mistaken). I wished they had lasted a little longer. br>br> Until the summer's end, at the very least. When I buy goggles again, I'll try a different brand/style in the hopes of getting better durability.

Purchase these items at your own risk! Swim outlet is the place to go
3/5

Purchase these goggles at your own risk! I decided to buy them anyway after reading many of the reviews and carefully peeled away the protective film from the lenses. Even after all these years, the patina was flaking off! It's extremely distracting, and the goggles are effectively useless. And, for some reason, customer service for this product "isn't available. The quality of the blue ones isn't as good as the previous ones
3/5

Since high school, I've been purchasing Speedo Vanquisher goggles, and I've probably owned 5 or 6 pairs. They fit perfectly and appear to last; I only replace them when the anti-scratch coating on the anti-scratch coating becomes severely scratched. The fogging has worn off completely. br>br>However, I'm not convinced about the most recent pair. Maybe it's a forgery? Even so, it's a decent knockoff. Alternatively, the quality of Speedo's products may be deteriorating. I'm keeping them because they appear to be adequate, but changing the nose piece proved to be a difficult task. It's a little softer than usual, and it doesn't "snap" into place. So I wouldn't recommend buying these unless you've already owned them and know what size you want so you don't have to do it again. In addition, the straps on this pair are thinner than those on other pairs. br>br>It's also worth noting that the blue lenses aren't quite as dark as the pink ones I'm replacing. There isn't much of a tint in the front, and there isn't any on the sides. Because I only use them indoors, this is actually a benefit for me. However, I doubt they provide any UV protection, which makes me wonder if they're genuine; the pink ones, on the other hand, are tinted and suitable for outdoor use.

Is this a Speedo rip-off? The strap was twisted when it arrived, making it difficult to get a good, secure fit
3/5

The strap also has a small tear on one side that prevents it from being adjusted because the strap gets caught on the eyelet. I have a hard time believing this is a genuine Speedo product because they have always produced high-quality, long-lasting items. The goggles I received were poorly constructed and fell apart almost immediately after opening the package. A cardboard box with a mesh storage pouch is also supposed to be included with the Vanquisher 2. This was packaged in flimsy plastic with no way to store it.
