Questions & Answers
These goggles are worn by my son's entire swim team. When it comes to protecting their eyes and skin, their coach is very particular. They are long-lasting and durable.br>I hope this information is useful.
No, they're transparent, though the reflection makes the edges appear pink.
My 12-year-old has been wearing the women's for about a year, and there isn't much of a difference in the two. They can also be adjusted at the bridge of the nose. It is dependent on whether or not he is an older child. My daughter is a typical young lady.
I'm not sure why you'd want to, but if it were extremely small, I suppose you could. The goggles' straps, on the other hand, are designed to come across the back of your head in two places to keep them secure. So, in general, I'd advise against it.

My children are eight and eleven years old, respectively. They are members of a community swim team and are well-versed in which goggles do and do not work. Almost every pair of goggles I purchase has a flaw. They start to become foggy. pull my daughter's hair, fill with water, injure their heads, slide off when they dive in, and pinch their noses in an unfavorable way All of these are complaints I've heard, and I have a drawer in the mudroom I call the goggle graveyard because I've spent so much money on goggles they despise that I can't bear to throw them away. As a result, they're stowed away in this drawer. br>br>When I bought these, I finally got it right. They are a hit with both my son and daughter. They wore them for the entire summer season, putting in four days of practice per week and competing in five swim meets, and they are still in excellent condition. I'd strongly advise you to use them.
These were purchased for a 6-year-old boy. year- 4-year-old who is swimming 5 times per week is the minimum. After each use, these goggles were rinsed and stored in a case in the house to remove the chlorine. The fact that the head strap isn't cracking, stretching, or breaking down is proof of this. Before the nose bridges cracked as they were being put on, the goggles worked perfectly. br>This isn't the first time this failure has been reported at the same time, and Speedo appears unconcerned when contacted via email. I assumed the company had higher standards, but it appears they manufacture and sell a subpar product, and I'm concerned that Amazon has not flagged this item as low quality or defective despite numerous complaints.
br>However, I have had three junior versions with nose piece issues, despite the fact that it comes with four and one is already in place. br>I understand how to adjust and all, so this is not an error by someone who is unfamiliar with the product. br>For whatever reason, however, I have had three junior versions with nose piece issues, despite the fact that it comes with four and one is already in place. Because my children (and I) require the smallest size, I remove the default size and replace it with the smallest size. The nosepiece won't stay in place after three practices. The same problem occurs when I use the default and other sizes. br>I can deal with the $20 price tag for goggles because they are usually used for months or years, but 1- It's inexcusable that there are three practices that need to be replaced. br>By the way, it appears to be limited to the most recent goggles, so I'm not sure if there has been a change in their manufacturing. Older junior vanquishers continue to work, but the new ones are clearly a problem.
Instantly broke. We go through Speedo Jr. because I have two competitive swimmers at home. Vanquishers 2 is the second installment of the Vanquishers franchise. As a result of normal wear and tear, 0 times per year. However, in the last month, I purchased three pairs, all of which broke within the first week (two of which broke on the first day of use!). In one case, the string snapped, and in the other two cases, the plastic that held the nose piece snapped. All of them had broken while swimming! These goggles are clearly defective and poorly constructed. Because they are the best in size and model for their face, I'm hoping this is a bad batch and not the norm moving forward. I'm only giving one star because I'm sure these aren't made properly! I'm going to go back to 4-star if they review quality or change manufacturing. 5 stars.
Because I learned to swim later in life, I was unaware for a long time that not all swimming goggles are created equal. Someone should have told me that, so I wouldn't have spent so much money on "leaky" goggles that I would have had to discard for at least three years. Adult goggles, including women's adult goggles, are probably too big for my face. Even so, some junior-sized goggles were too big for my face. I've used both the Aqua Sphere and the Speedo brands. br>br>By pure chance, I tried on a pair of Speedo Junior Hydrospex goggles, and for the first time, they didn't leak! I finally completed a workout without constantly fiddling with my goggles and dumping water out of them.
. As a result, if the Junior Hydrospex fits your face, the Speedo Junior Vanquisher is for you. The Vanquisher, on the other hand, is far superior to the Hydrospex, as it has a lower profile and thus produces far less drag. Trust me. Put on your Vanquishers. br>br>As for this particular model, I adore the vibrant rainbow hues. The mirrored finish appears to be working. It has a slight tint to it. I haven't had the opportunity to swim in extremely bright conditions, so I'll report back when I do and see if it works as advertised. br>br>A note on the anti-br>br>anti-br>anti-br>anti-br>anti-b fog. which is a lie we all know. Ha! There is no such thing as anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti-anti fog. I suggest you pick up some Jaws Quick Spit Antifog Spray. That stuff is actually effective. Forget about making your own products (your own spit, baby shampoo, shaving cream, etc. ). Those home remedies are ineffective, but Jaws is effective.
This is the second time that a piece has been shattered. The first was bought in a store, and the second was purchased on Amazon. The nose connector had broken in both of them. We put the remaining pieces together to make a third. The strap connector on the third had broken. By inspecting the strap connector, it was discovered that it had broken in the middle, where the goggle piece was assembled or manufactured. I had high hopes for Speedo, but I was sorely disappointed.
For my competitive swimmers, I will never purchase another brand of goggles. I am a swim coach for a highly successful competitive team, and I have three competitive swimmers of my own. I gave in and bought these after battling with other goggles that promised the sun in terms of not leaking and fitting well (but then fell short). For my children, I will never use another brand. They stay put, don't leak, and are very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is buying a bungee strap to replace the straps because they are prone to breaking and slipping.
