Questions & Answers

Do these lenses have a clear tint?

Thank you for your interest in our lenses; they are crystal clear.

Is there a difference between the "white/navy" and "clear one size" googles in terms of lens?

The only difference is the goggle's color. The rest of the design is the same in all of the colors.

What does the letter NA stand for when it comes to size?

I'm guessing it's a "one-and-done" situation. "One size fits all" is a reference. The nosepiece connecting the two goggles comes in a variety of sizes. The band around the head can also be adjusted.

Is a plus prescription indicated by a 2 next to the giggles?

It doesn't work like that at all. 2nd Vanquisher Version 2 is indicated by a value of 0.

REMOVE THE NOSEPIECE BUT DO NOT CHANGE IT
3/5

For the record, I'm a woman, so perhaps my head is too small and I should've bought the women's versions, but the nosepiece on these was slightly too large for my head. "I'll just use one of the three extra nosepieces that came with it!" " I naively thought. Ripping out the nosepiece is a LONG, PAINFUL, AND EXHAUSTING process. I used force to get what I wanted! Pliers were my first choice! I attempted to use a screwdriver with a flat bit! I've spent at least 30 minutes on this. The best advice I could find online was to "twist and rip" (I made the mistake of chopping the nosepiece in half with my pliers; That is not a good idea). I felt like I'd completed a herculean task akin to a triathlon after twisting and ripping, but without the bragging rights. I'm about to give up and take a dinner break because I've only inserted ONE of the new smaller nosepieces, not both. I WISH TO GOD (I don't believe in God, but these goggles made me pray to him/her) that I had simply LEFT THE NOSEPIECE ALONE. Trying to change it is completely pointless. You'll despise yourself and your decisions in life. DO NOT CHANGE THE NOSEPIECE IN ANY WAY.

For any competitive swimmer, the best pair of goggles
5/5

I've always been a competitive swimmer, and I'm now a swim coach as well. Vanquisher goggles are without a doubt the most cost-effective goggles available. Diving doesn't feel bulky because of the streamline fit, and you don't get that "face smash" feeling. Plus, unlike other goggles (I'm looking at you, Hyrdospex), the design is far more fashionable. My swim team and I were devastated when we learned that Vanquishers would be phased out, only to be relieved when Vanquisher 2 was released. The result was zero. I'll only buy 10/10 from now on. Advantages: br>br> br>Sleek designbr>No "Face smash" feeling when diving or pushing offbr>Doesn't feel bulkybr>br>Cons: br>While the straps aren't as durable as some other types, they'll last a lot longer if you're not lazy and tighten and loosen them properly (rather than just tugging on them). They almost always make it through a season for me (a season for me is swimming twice a day Monday through Friday). br>br>Side note: From October to April, on Fridays)br>br> If you're looking for goggles for your child who is under the age of ten, look no further. Hydrospex Jr. is a product that is available for purchase. Alternatively, if they have larger heads, they can use Hydrospex. In my role as a coach for a K - I've seen the immense discomfort that goggles cause young children on a 12-club team. Hyrdospecx are without a doubt the most comfortable for children.

This is the ONE and ONLY pair of competition goggles you'll ever need
5/5

I've been swimming for a long time and have finally discovered the perfect pair of goggles. These goggles have served me well for the past two years. My swimming buddies have all purchased these and are extremely pleased with them. Advantages: br>br>
- During swimming, no water will get into the lens. br>- Reduces glare while remaining transparent. br>- Around the eyes is a soft silicone. After a swim, they won't look at you like a raccoon. br>- After use, the straps remain tight and do not loosen.

The space is too limited
3/5

They come with two extra nose pieces, one of which is slightly larger than the default, but it's still far too small for me. The goggles are likely to be useful, but the oddly small nose pieces prevent me from using them. br>br>I'm a 42-year-old man who isn't overly muscular. I wear fairly standard sunglasses sizes, so their largest size shouldn't be too small for me. These are probably fine if you're buying for a child or have a small face, but don't waste your time if you don't.

First Use was a failure
3/5

The nose bridge pulled out of the right lens the first time I tried to use them, and it wouldn't stay put. I tried switching nose bridges (extra bridges were included with the goggles), but they all had the same issue. I called and emailed Speedo to request a new pair of goggles. After numerous phone calls and letters, a representative from Speedo told me that if I hadn't purchased them from Amazon, they would have been replaced. I was transferred to a different customer service representative, who eventually agreed to send me a new pair of goggles. That happened two weeks ago, and I believe they've since blown us off. Maybe if I use super glue and duct tape, I'll be able to use these goggles.

It's easy to see with because it's so clear
5/5

I've been using TYR Velocity clear goggles for years, and I've used them for my swim in four Ironman distance triathlons. My eyelashes are always smudging and foggying my lenses. I've dealt with it to some extent. I ordered these after reading a review stating that someone had the same problem and that these were the solution. Today was the first time I swam with the Vanquisher, and WOW did it beat the velocity. It was like starting a new job in the pool because I could see everything. It was absolutely ideal!! br>br>Many thanks to Speedo. My new goggles have been found.

The year's most inconvenient purchase
3/5

Never before have I given anything a one-star rating. Part of the blame lies with me; I should have paid attention to the negative feedback. But, because I'm a meticulous installer who always follows the instructions, I figured it'd be fine. Because the bridge of my nose is so narrow, I knew I'd have to go with the smallest bridge size. The small option was, in fact, the sole reason I bought the goggles in the first place. The size it came with came out okay after watching the tutorial video, but I was unable to obtain the smallest size. Because I tried them all, you can use ANY size to securely snap in. I'm not one to give up easily; I sat there for an hour trying. (Yes, I have regrets. ) AN HOUR ) I'm at the peak of my career - It shouldn't have to be this difficult.

Vanquisher is a term used to describe a person who has defeated another person a fantastic pair of goggles When I asked for a recommendation for a good pair of googles, my swim instructor specifically mentioned the Vanquisher
5/5

I was aware of the Speedo brand, but this model is outstanding. They create a tight seal around the eyes that prevents water from getting in. Since all of my swimmingbr>has been done indoors, I was concerned that they might be too dark. The shade of blue isn't too dark. When my head is submerged, I can easily see. br>Would recommend paying a little more for these than the less expensive Speedos I'd been buying in the popular department stores.
