This was the swimming solution I wished I had discovered sooner. Traditional plugs irritate my ear canal because of the shape of my ears. These fit over the opening without going too far into the ear canal. They are less noisy than earplugs, which transmit splash directly into the ear. As a result, swimming and dealing with water intrusion are both more peaceful. I've made the decision to become a believer.

I've tried the colored Putty Buddies, and while they kept the water out of his ears during baths, they stained the insides of his ears. These are much more appealing to me. They accomplish the same results without the use of color.

This one, unlike others we've tried, stays in my son's ear without requiring constant reinsertion. My son is a competitive swimmer who competes in a variety of events. We also had no problems using these at the beach.
