I'm fairly certain of it. I have the 12x6 and the bottom part of the frame extends and retracts, allowing you to make it smaller if desired; however, I am unsure of the exact dimensions at which it locks in place. If you shorten the goal's width, the net will obviously be a little looser, but it can easily be taped or zip-tied down. tied.
I didn't measure them, but they appear to be approximately 4 inches by 4 inches.
Ours hasn't rusted yet because we keep it outside.

Replacement nets must be available. With a lifetime warranty, this goal is extremely durable and well-made. We bought two and are very happy with them. Bownets cost half as much. The goals have made my son very happy. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It's worth noting that they don't sell replacement nets at the moment, and the frame is covered by a lifetime warranty. The net warranty is only about 30 days long. Until I find a solution for replacement nets, I'll keep updating my review.
The review that said the net was too big for the frame was my biggest worry. It's not the case; it's a perfect match. The customer did not appear to have expanded the back base, in my opinion. To be honest, the instructions are complete nonsense. When you know what you're doing, putting this together is fairly simple. The bottom frame is delivered in its most compact configuration. The side legs must first be folded out, followed by the rear base being expanded. The rear base will click into place when you pull it apart. Then simply follow the instructions on the product page to put the net on. The net will not fit and will sag if the back base is not expanded. Knowing this, you should be able to put up the net in about 10 minutes and take it down in about 5. The net is large enough to fit everything in the bag, and it is relatively light for its size.
We ordered the 12x6 for our soccer-obsessed son's birthday and were extremely dissatisfied. After it has been set up, the product frame does not resemble the photo. The net is far too large for the frame that was sent to us. We tried several times to set it up according to the instructions, doing what we thought was reasonable, but nothing worked - It doesn't resemble the image in any way. I'm not sure if parts were missing or if we were given the incorrect items, but this was a waste of time. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!.
This was purchased for the benefit of my grandchildren. It is not a "standard" size goal or a sturdy structure made of heavy gauge steel. However, it is a good size for early elementary school children and provides them with a good practice net. It's simple to put together and move around. It's secured with tie down stakes. While the opening is smaller than most goals, it will still provide the children with the concept of a target to shoot for, and the younger children can continue to practice their goalie skills while the older ones work on theirs.
This is a fantastic product that is extremely durable. It's simple to set up and take down. It's a big hit with my son. Has been a lifesaver during this quarantine; he plays competitive soccer, and we live in an apartment, so having this was very helpful. The packaging is the only suggestion I have. Maybe some small compartments to keep the pieces together. During the shipping process, it gets a little scuffed up.
You can adjust them on the bottom to make them wider great product for 5 vs 5 games or 11 vs 11 games I gave it a week and the nets were already ruined and that's just a week of use. The bottom of the net was detaching and the red fabric material was already ripped and you would think for the price it would.
After my son collided with the side netting, the holes in the buttons bent. If you get them, I recommend them for small children who don't kick the ball as hard. They have a cheap metal frame. It could use some bolstering. The net itself is made of a thin material that easily tears after a few hits.
I rarely write reviews, but this item is deserving of one. I looked high and low for two portable 4'x8' soccer nets that appeared to be sturdy and affordable. I purchased two of these and placed them in the backyard, which is fairly open to the neighbors. It was a big hit with the kids and adults in the neighborhood. It's amazing how hard you can hit the net with a shot and it still doesn't move. I have no regrets about this purchase.
