I did not get along with it. I don't like the way this works. There is a twist in the straps. My thought was that it would look good over a winter coat. It is a very simple process to get on. There are a few issue with the straps as they flip over and are a bit annoying to fix. In fact, it is so much so. My use of it has ended and I'm looking for something else that serves my needs better. Sadly, the reflective portion of the article was lacking. I think it does reflect that. Because I didn't want to look like a giant glow stick walking my dog in the dark I decided this would be enough. The level of safety is not good enough.
The bag is lightweight and comfortable but I would not recommend it for heavy use. I am a pilot and I use it for walking on the flightline so it is very light use for me, but after only a couple months of walking and sitting in an aircraft, it is already showing wear.
Cycling is what I do with the vest. Light and comfortable, it is the perfect item for traveling. Despite my height and weight (5'9" 180 lbs), adapting it proved to be no problem. Adjusted to its maximum size, the seat would fit an adult who is 6'2".
After my surgery, I was required to walk daily for a long distance in order to recover. In the middle of winter with snow covered sidewalks in the Northeast, this vest makes me very visible at dusk and at.
