No, it isn't water-resistant. I used these to work out my legs, and the red shorts showed all of my sweat, but they are very comfortable and don't roll down.
I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but I was expecting them to be closer to 3' and they're closer to 5', so they definitely roll up with cardio/squatting, but they're not uncomfortable and they still look cute!

I rarely write product reviews, but let me tell you, this was well worth the investment. BUY THIS (similar to the Flex material) if you want Gymshark but don't want to spend a fortune on it. This deal on three shorts is unbeatable. For a long time, I've been looking for a pair of shorts like this that were both high-quality and affordable. I'm glad I bought these, and I'm looking forward to working out in them! The only criticism I have is that the lighter colors aren't completely squat proof, so make sure you wear light-colored underwear with them.
EDIT! I really wanted to like these shorts, but I should have held off on expressing my initial thoughts. The fabric is pulling all over the place after washing the shorts (extra low tumble dry). The shorts are completely destroyed, and I am unable to wear them. Instead of wasting your money, go buy a genuine Gymshark short. br>br>The material and construction are of excellent quality. I have no complaints, especially considering the price; however, I would say they are a little too small. If you're in doubt, go up a size (especially if your thighs are large and muscular). These will fit you perfectly if you have a very slim body. If you're curvy like me, you might have some issues. Then there's the university slacker. You won't get that glute separation because there's no middle seam on the back and no attention to the back design at all. Second, the crotch isn't my favorite because it simply runs down the legs in a straight line, which looks odd from certain angles.

PROOF OF SQUAT! These are similar to the shark shorts I used to wear at the gym. Almost the same quality for a quarter of the price, with excellent stomach control. If you're in between sizes, I'd recommend going up a size because they're quite snug (:.
Overall, these are great workout shorts that fit perfectly. The neon colors, pink, green, and orange, were SEE THROUGH, so I ordered them expecting the same quality. They were the same size, but Beth was able to see right through them. They were transparent to the point where you could see straight through them.

I ended up going with the small, which fits perfectly; I'm 5'10", 144lbs, and have a 27" waist, but I'm not the bulkiest I've ever been, so I'll probably buy another set in the medium size to accommodate my legs once I gain muscle mass again. Great length, great stretch, and great since in the waist. I haven't worked out in them yet, but I expect them to sweat and roll up when I squat like the rest of my spandex shorts. I'm not too concerned because I don't suffer from nose butt/crotch sweat. I got the green/blue/grey combination, and they're all so lovely.
