These shorts had a lot of potential. They have a brushed fabric feel to them that is both soft and heavy. Although they aren't light or breathable, I believe they would effectively conceal sweat. My height is 5'4" and my weight is 110 pounds. 115 pounds, size 0- I ordered the XS and received two pairs of pants and a skirt, but they aren't designed for petite figures. They were oddly fitted, with a strange flare at the knee and a baggy hips/buttocks area. I wish they were a little smaller for smaller people; I think they'd be great for working out if you're looking for longer shorts, but the sizing didn't work out for me, so I returned them.
First and foremost, the fabric and workmanship are of the highest quality; I am 5' 4' and 120 pounds. I went with the large size. It's a little on the large side, but it's a great place to sit. The fabric is pleasant to the touch and has a pleasant feel to it. So I'd give it a 'high 5' for shopping, walking, lounging, and overall comfort. " You might want to consider the medium if you have a need for more social functions, dining, socializing, and so on. It all boils down to your height, weight, and body type. But once you've nailed that, I believe you'll be able to 'live' in these walking shorts throughout the spring, summer, and fall. I would definitely recommend them for unrivaled comfort. br>br>As I wear them, I am finding that the yoke in the back adds to the comfort of my hips and'rears. ' Also, the zipper pockets are of good quality and, if necessary, secure. In the summer, I live in'shorts,' but at 93, I can no longer wear the 8" length, so these 10" allow me to maintain my summer comfort.
I don't have any pluses. I'm petite and curvy, so finding shorts that don't look baggy or aren't too tight in the thighs and bum is difficult for me. Because my weight fluctuates so much, standard shorts frequently fail to fit me the following season. These shorts are ideal for me because they have the same stretch and comfort as sweatpants or leggings without being too revealing, baggy, or saggy. The pockets zip up neatly to prevent them from gaping open across my hips. The pockets are also large enough to hold a standard cell phone comfortably. I fell in love with them so much that I ordered two more right away. In pants, I wear a size 10 and the medium is a good fit for me. On days when I want a looser fit, I ordered a large.
The shorts are comfortable enough for me to wear on the golf course. br>I recently purchased two more of the zippered ones, and my only disappointment is that they are only available in three colors. br>I adore the shorts in every way, especially the Bermuda length, which is perfect for my thighs.
These are extremely well-made. The strange thing is that the front "leg" of the short comes to a point just above the knee. These were appealing to me because they were modest in appearance, falling just below the knee. When viewed from the side, however, the front of the "leg" appears to be deeper than the back and comes to a point at the front of the knee. At this point, the hem is quite stiff and hasn't softened up. I had hoped it would, removing the pointed appearance of the front of the leg at the knee. br>I'm keeping them in the hopes that by washing and wearing them, the problem will go away.
According to reviews, curvier women like these; I'm not particularly curvy, but they're not baggy, and they don't hang or fit incorrectly as a result (5'3" 128 lbs, medium). The material is very soft and not too thin or thick, and it has proven to be durable. I like how the pockets are located along the hip area; when not in use, they don't detract from the appearance of the front of the shorts, and when needed, they hold a reasonable amount of items, and the zipper keeps everything secure. The drawstring waist is elastic and sits at the natural waistline, making it extremely comfortable. I don't like the look of the waist, but I don't tuck shirts into any kind of shorts or Bermudas, so it's not a problem for me. I believe the waistband design is the reason these fit and hang so well. It was also a win because the color on sale was one of my favorites.
They are extremely high waisted, which makes it difficult for me to exercise in them. It's almost as if two different pairs of shorts were sewn together from different fabrics. Because of this, I find the position of the pockets odd; they are more on the side of the hip, making it difficult to get your keys out of them. The pockets are large enough to hold a lot of stuff. In retrospect, I should have returned them after trying them on because of the thickness and pocket issue, rather than washing and hoping for the best.
I am short waisted, and the rise is at my natural waist; I prefer a lower rise (at 5'7", I sometimes get a petite for the proper rise), especially in summer. Everything else about these shorts is perfect: they're well-made, and you can wear them to work out or just run errands in them. They're so well-dressed. They're made of a stretchy, comfortable fabric with lots of details. I'm 138 pounds and ordered a M, and they fit perfectly. I'm glad I was able to take advantage of the limited-time offer.
