I'm about 205 pounds and purchased the XL size, which was too big even after washing. I hope this information is useful.
If it's tight, it'll be more see-through. I'm torn between two options: a small business and a large corporation. Med & The medium was better at covering everything.
Please keep in mind that this product is a two-piece set, with 5 and 8 inch shorts. If you want to buy a pair of 5 inch shorts, you can go with the 5 inch shorts. I hope this has been of assistance.
It's "compression" but not "snug." I have three pairs of these shoes and adore them. In the summer, I wear them under my shirt dresses.

When it comes to running, compression/booty shorts are a pain for me. I decided to give these a try and went with medium based on the chart. I ran 4 miles in them and they didn't ride up or rub against my thighs in an uncomfortable way. For running, I would strongly recommend them! I went with the 5" length.
I bought these shorts in both XL and Large, and they're great shorts for a good price; however, they lose a star because each pair fits differently - I have two XL pairs; one is a little loose in the waist but fits well, and the other is tighter in the waist but the seams on the legs are much tighter and squeeze me. br>br>I have two XL pairs; one is a little loose in the waist but fits well, and the other pair is tighter in the waist but the seams on the legs are much tighter and squeeze me. br>br>I have five Large pairs, none of which squeeze my legs as much as the one XL pair, but they do vary in tightness at the waist and overall.
The leg on which I didn't have my phone in the pocket came up just enough to warrant pulling them down while running. Even when I was doing sprint intervals, the phone remained secure in my pocket. The waistband sits high on the hips and does not cut into the body. Just the right amount of compression. Based on other reviews, I ordered a medium because I was concerned that the legs would cut into my thighs if I ordered a small. I'm 5'3", 135 pounds, and have a muscular build (not skinny legs). I'll probably order more of these, especially if they wash well.
Baleaf's products are fantastic, and I've purchased several of them. I didn't give these shorts two stars because they're not up to par in terms of quality. The fit is ideal, the fabric is luxurious, and the length is ideal. The only issue I have with them is that you can see right through them to the lady bits. I'm not referring to camels in any way. either your toes or your heels I'm referring to the shape of things, the shadows, and everything else. I wore them to a boxing session I had planned, and there's a full-length mirror in the back. Wherever I go, I carry a full-length mirror. I was doing some jumping jacks to warm up. I was so embarrassed that I had to leave with a sweater around my waist because they had quickly become my favorite piece of workout gear that I own. I wore these on several runs and multiple outdoor weightlifting sessions because they had quickly become my favorite piece of workout gear that I own. Of course, I don't run in front of a mirror, and I wasn't lifting in front of one at the time (no, I was lifting in front of a group of guys who also go to the outdoor gym here, and I'm usually the only girl). br>br>Anyway, I wanted to warn everyone before buying these because I've been running around parading my privates for everyone I passed on my runs, including my trainer, for the last couple of months. I'm not sure if this is a Baleaf issue or a "seamless shorts" issue. Perhaps it's just the color (red) I chose. With the black ones, you might not be able to see as well.
I'm not even carrying a purse because I'm wearing these under my dresses: ) I've also placed an order for a second pair.
similar to the Lululemons I have! Those shorts are fantastic! The material differs from that of Baleaf's most popular shorts (BALEAF Women's 8" /5" /2" High Waist Workout Biker Yoga Running Compression Exercise Shorts Side Pockets). And believe me, it's well worth the extra cash! This fabric is super soft, wicks away moisture, and reminds me of my Lululemons! br>br>I'm 5'3", 145 lbs, and pear-shaped, so I ordered a medium. I got them to run outside because I wanted something that was tight, had a high waist, and was longer than typical running shorts. I've already gone out with them five times and have nothing but praise for them. Each side has two pockets, which is fantastic. I can fit my keys, phone, and other items in there if I want to. Nothing will move around when you run because the shorts are too tight. After being washed several times, the quality remains the same. br>However, I do wish this material came in more colors!.
These shorts are incredibly relaxing to wear. I was looking for a pair of comfortable compression shorts to run in while keeping my phone and keys in my pocket, and these fit the bill perfectly. For the first time, I went for a 5-mile run in them and they didn't move an inch. I'm a fairly straight-bodied woman with slim thighs and hips, but I can see how someone with larger thighs might find the tightness of the leg hug bothersome. The waist is just right; for reference, I'm 28" tall. I'll admit that they don't dry quickly, but when I'm working out in 70-degree weather, staying dry is clearly not a top priority.
The fabric isn't as thin as it can be on some compression shorts. I'm 5'6" and 220 lbs. , so I ordered a size 2X. I strongly advise.
