I ordered a green shirt in the cargo color.
Because this is a stretchy fabric, your regular size will fit, but it will be extremely form fitting. If you want it to be a little looser but not too loose, go up a size; if you're very muscular, go up a size as well. I'm of average build and usually wear large in most things, and large and extra large both fit me in this.
Both of the products I found using your descriptors have the same ASIN (B07GXCDR6P) assigned by Amazon, so they should be identical.
They're slim, snug, and true to size, which means they're not too big or too small. Get a large if you usually wear a medium.

The month of June has come to an end. In humid Kansas (currently about halfway between desert and tropical humidity, though it can get tropical if there's a lot of rain). Merino wool is said to keep you warm in the winter (which I assumed was true), but cool in the summer? That didn't ring true to me at all. As a result, I chose a neutral color with long sleeves that was neither reflective nor "passive solar black. " Yep. It is summertime. br>br>I must say, I'm blown away! Despite the fact that it was lengthy- It outperforms my synthetic cycling jerseys, despite being short-sleeved and non-reflective. I felt at ease as long as I moved around, allowing air to flow across the fabric. If I came to a halt where there was no breeze, things began to warm up, but not as quickly as if there was shade. Even though it's supposed to wick moisture away as well, I felt less sweaty than when I was wearing synthetic. br>br>Based on this limited experience, I'll be putting money aside for more Icebreaker performance wear. br>br>Only one drawback (which isn't worth a star because it can be easily fixed). Other Icebreaker shirts in the same size that I ordered were way too big. This indicates that their sizing isn't consistent across their entire product line. Differences between factories are possible.
A once-fantastic product is now a flop. Regrettably, the fit and quality of the materials have deteriorated. br>br>I also purchased four more tops, two of which were of regular weight and the other two of which were of 200 weight. The fit is excellent, and the quality is of a high standard. br>br>Here's something newer, sexier, and more su@k. The fabric has blown out and distorted as it rests on the body, and the sleeves are mismatched in length.
- When a sleeve is rolled up inside another sleeve and you try to unravel it to make it even with your wrist so it doesn't bunch up, this is an example. There isn't a solution in sight. br>br>The pattern-cutting machine is off by a long shot. br>It appears that the sizing has gone American, with fat bodies and short sleeves being the size changes. br>These aren't suitable for athletic physiques any longer. Just completely out of proportion. br>br> br>br>I recommend saving the extra money for a better product, such as Smartwool, Patagucci's, or Ibex. The quality and fit are now comparable to that of a second-tier sweatshop. That's a real pity.
It easily stretches. My first one developed small holes, as do all merino wool garments. There are numerous small holes. I had it for more than two years, so it was a good run. Despite all merino fabric care instructions, I washed it in the machine. So I bought another one for $35 while it was on sale. In the winter, I mostly wear it around the house or to sleep in on cooler nights. It quickly became my favorite merino top for wearing indoors. For hiking, biking, and traveling, I prefer to wear heavier weight merino (250g) tops.
The cut is form fitting and it is initially very snug, but as it is 100% merino with no synthetic fibers added, it stretches quickly (even too m I also really like the zipper- When tossing and turning in bed, you won't feel as suffocated as you would with crew-cut. tops with a high neckline And I like how it adds to the ventilation. br>Does it make sense to spend $80 on it? Most likely not, but if you find one on sale, buy two:.
It's snug but not too tight, and I'm not itchy wearing it. I'm 5' 10" tall, 32" waisted, 39" chested, and weigh 155 pounds. I also ordered a large size after reading that some reviewers thought it was too small. After a couple of cold washes, the large fits me perfectly and shows no signs of shrinkage. The drying process is done by air.
This is far superior to anything made by Under Armour or any other stretchy manufacturer. Just make sure not to put it in the dryer because it will shrink a lot. While you're putting everything else in the dryer, simply hang it on something nearby. It dries quickly and smells like normal house air. There is no need for a fan, sunlight, or anything else. It maintains its softness. We have several sets and don't sweat the details of the washing process, preferring instead to air dry everything.
For the 500 miles of the Camino de Santiago, I purchased two of these Icebreaker base layer shirts. They aren't cheap, but they are well worth the money! They are very light and comfortable (zero itching), don't hold odors, and are easy to wash with a super quick dry time. They provide good protection against cold weather (when used as a base layer, which is their primary function), are very light and comfortable (zero itching), don't hold odors, and are easy to wash with a super quick dry time.
Pluses: Merino wool is both soft and stretchy. br>The color is exactly as it appears in the photo. br>It might be better if: br>The fit is slim and long, so size up (if you normally wear a large in Smartwool, you'll probably want an XL in this) and expect it to be long. br>It has a higher tendency to show wrinkles than Smartwool products.
This merino 1/4 zip baselayer is fantastic. The fit is tight, and the material is thin but warm. It's attractive. I'm 6' 200 pounds, with a 43" chest and 36" waist, but I have a stomach. I usually wear a large, and the large fit me perfectly; I'm sure an XL would have fit me just as well, albeit with a slightly looser fit.
