These athletic shorts are a big hit with my grandson! These shorts are made of lightweight fabric, making them ideal for warmer weather. He said they are comfortable and don't squeeze his waist. The elastic waistband is soft and has a drawstring for a more secure fit if needed. Overall, a very nice pair of athletic shorts with two side pockets that have plenty of room for small toys, cell phones, and other items. They don't shrink or lose color when washed or dried.
