Here's an update. The quality of cheap foam chucks is not as good as it should be. This is something I got for a friend's child and he had a lot of fun with it. The hollow plastic core doesn't really offer much in the way of performance. If you get whacked with them, you'll probably hurt yourself because the foam is stiff. There are no red ends attached to the black body, either, and they are glued on cheaply. **UPDATE*
I received a message from the seller about my negative review and they offered to send a new order to me. After having received the green set of nunchucks, the seller contacted me to ask that I remove my 2-star review for the red/black pair. Although it wouldn't really make a significant difference to my review for the green nunchucks since the glued-on red ends would make no difference to my opinion. The cores are still made of cheap hollow plastic that is easily broken. However, the seller offered to send me a new set or to refund my money, but I was unaware that they were deliberately hiding They are not that expensive so you are getting less than you paid.

My nunchucks are great and I am very happy with them. My search for a practice pair did not disappoint as these were exactly what I wanted. It feels solid to hold and to use because of the foam grips and the link chain. The extra pair that comes with it is an added bonus. A future purchase of this brand is definitely in the cards.
