The third day
Having no idea what Aikido moves or Meisner activities are, I would like to point out that for more than a year my 14-year-old son practiced them and really enjoyed them. You don't notice a difference in the feel of your knuckles when he misses since the foam is soft enough.
When it comes to the foam bo, you won't be able to put weight on it. However, on a solid oak bo you can put weight on that
Some larp organizations have set standards for how much padding weapons should have, and generally require a lot of padding. Smaller larp groups might be able to get by with it.

This was a present he received from himself at age 13. The bo staff is something he's learning in a martial arts class and wanted something he could practice with at home as well. It's pretty light weight and has lasted so far through quite a few play sessions, so we'll see how long it lasts. The majority of the time it comes into contact with air or his legs by accident, which is why it is foam-covered. In my opinions, its softness would not be suitable for contact practice. It is soft, but I doubt its strength would be enough to handle that kind of use. Despite the fact that my kid is using it every day, I predict it will last for a couple of years under his usual use. I liked how fast it arrived and how reasonable the price was as well.
I'm a big fan of the durability of the product, and since the end caps are a bit soft, you'd think that they wouldn't just fall off with a first impact. But in fact, that is what happened with my son. In addition to that, he is very very good at the job of bo staff, and his birthday present already fell apart the day he got it. year old boy, you tend to be hard on things, but my son didn't stand a chance against something that had been created to harm him. That's a pretty cheap way to do it. It would have even been fine if the price had been scaled higher than twenty spots to account for the poor quality. If I were to buy this staff, I would aim to check out other models first.
The product is resistant to stress and hard use. The first one was working for a year, then broke after hard contact, which caused an internal pipe to become jagged. Be careful if you're sparring hard with it. It's holding up really well in the second one. There is no evidence of tears. There may be times when rubber needs to be slid up or down. No matter how much padding you wear, you still get hurt by hard hits. It is not wood, so you shouldn't expect it to stand up to moisture or abrasion. The overall picture I really like this product, it's worth every penny.
In the event that you will be excessively using them. It was very easy to peel off the foam coating. A better Bo might be required if you're going to use them mostly for training. They can be considered OK for the price. The delivery time was on time and the product was in good shape.
The new friend of his life is him. There's no stopping him when it comes to spinning, hitting, and showing off his tricks.
This is fantastic. This was necessary since they went up a belt color and were required by TKD to have these. Since they are designed to be durable, they are extremely robust against blunt force (do not scratch them). It was a very light jacket, and their instructor said they were able to wear it well.
I was new to this sort of thing and wanted to find something that was a little shorter and would suit training - 48 inches seemed to be the shortest I could find so In spite of that, I am very glad I opted for this rather than.
So far, the body seems to be in good condition.
