How does the waist size (i.e. L = 34) relate to the size?

An X 34-size shoe is what I wear It may help to know that my regular jeans are 36 and my MMA shorts are 34, if that is helpful. To the point where I use the inner waist tie as well, I have room for it.

The red color is much cheaper than the blue one?

My guess is that people don't like it as much

The size XL was ordered. The XL size shows a 36 waist, but in the US, you would never consider a 36 waist as In Afghanistan it is extremely difficult to return home.
